The Ka-32 helicopter, transferred by Portugal to Ukraine, was used in the emergency response to fires that broke out after a Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of June 10.
The aircraft was employed in battling the blaze that hit several parts of the Ukrainian capital, as revealed by images from Radio Liberty and videos released by public broadcaster Suspilne.
In the images, the helicopter can be seen dumping water using an external bucket — a special reservoir attached under the fuselage, designed to carry water or other extinguishing agents.
