00:30They teach it along with runway walking
00:31I'm sorry if I disturbed you
00:36I'm worrying about Bill
00:38Which is nonsense because I'm sure he'll be fine if he follows doctor's orders
00:44Which is a big if in this case
00:48There's this one time when we were married
00:51I don't remember what we were doing
00:54He threw out his back
01:00Yeah I can see how that went
01:02You are quite the star athlete
01:04And every time he wins
01:06Bill would go
01:07Guess
01:09I mean the man would rather die
01:11Than admit a weakness
01:13The way you still care about Bill
01:15After everything he put you through
01:19And you have one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen
01:22For real
01:23Okay Chesters
01:27This is Dr. Montgomery
01:29Not only does she have a bunch of letters after her name
01:33But doesn't she have Major Riz?
01:36Okay I want to see all the heart eyes for that gorgeous face
01:40Please
01:41I thought I was here to talk about medicine
01:43Madison is a brilliant neurologist
01:45Who's taking care of
01:46A lot of patients here in this hospital
01:50Okay Dr. Montgomery
01:52So how are you already a neurologist at your age?
01:55Are you a genius or what?
01:57No
01:58Not at all
01:59I'm kind of boring to be honest
02:02All I ever wanted to be was a doctor
02:04So I graduated high school early
02:06And doubled up on courses in college and med school
02:08Hmm
02:08So I guess you didn't go to a lot of parties, huh?
02:12Try none
02:13I was basically the nerd with her nose
02:15Always in a book
02:16Very few friends
02:18No dates
02:19Come on
02:20I've never seen a bookworm as beautiful as you
02:22Show him another copy of the deposition
02:24And that'll give him the raise the offer
02:26Yeah
02:27Mr. Hamilton
02:29Okay
02:30Okay
02:31Listen
02:31Since when have you been this formal with me?
02:34It's Bill
02:35Remember?
02:36Your bestie's dad?
02:38Within these walls
02:39I am a nurse
02:40And you are a patient
02:42Okay Bill
02:44If you want to get better
02:46How about we start working on getting some rest
02:47Instead of working on work
02:50Okay?
02:51Rest is for the week
02:53Okay?
02:54What I need to do is start walking around
02:56Well
02:56That's Dr. Montgomery's call
02:58You can ask her when she comes in to see you
03:00I don't need a doctor's permission to walk
03:03Hospital protocols
03:05Now listen
03:07You press the call button
03:08Was there something else you needed?
03:11Yeah
03:11I dropped my bluetooth answer
03:14On the floor somewhere
03:15But I heard it
03:16I can reach it now
03:18Okay
03:19Okay
03:19Careful
03:20Careful
03:20Careful
03:21Bill
03:21Okay
03:23Take kidding
03:23Well
03:24Somebody's feeling better
03:26Thank you

05:14What's all this?
05:15I am revising a motion to dismiss.
05:18I thought of an argument that's gonna knock the judge's socks off.
05:22Nice.
05:23You know, you seem to have a lot of energy despite the fact that you were tossing and turning last night.
05:27I know how worried you are about your dad.
05:29Just a bad night's sleep. Everybody's got them.
05:31Okay, so what time should we head to the hospital to see him?
05:37Oh, I'm not going.
05:38In the hospital room yesterday with Chelsea and Naomi and Haley, we were all so connected.
05:52We were all worried about this arrogant, exasperating man.
05:57And at one point, I looked over at my daughters, and I honestly couldn't remember why we hated Haley so much.
06:05It makes sense to me.
06:06It's only natural that you would find coming ground with Haley's husband being sick.
06:13Haley's husband. I see what you did there.
06:16Yeah, and I see how you feel.
06:17It's okay to worry about him, Danny.
06:21After all, the man got you to take vows with him, so he can't be all bad.
06:27Sometimes you surprise me so much.
06:30You are too good in bed to be this sensitive.
06:33I stare at tight much.
06:35Let me show you what a complicated and creative man I can be.
06:41All right.
06:42Come here.
06:42You should check on Danny without me.
07:02Well, if you're sure...
07:03I'm not.
07:04But we know she's more of a wild card than they are.
07:08All right, I'll go.
07:10I'll let you know where I find out.
07:12Can we make this quick way to make folks feel welcome?
07:27I see no point in rehashing the past.
07:30It is very clear where we all stand.
07:34Reuniting was a pleasant dream, but not every dream is meant to come true.
07:40But some are.
07:42You and Sharon have each said your piece.
07:46Now it's time for you to hear mine.
07:48So you might as well take a load off because I'm not leaving this house until the two of you stop talking and listen for a change.
07:55No, no, no, no.
08:03Don't let me interrupt.
08:04This isn't remotely what it looks like.
08:07Oh, oh, oh, yeah, babe.
08:08This is exactly what it looks like.
08:10This hot, beautiful young nurse here was putting the moves on me.
08:13Now, I demand to be released from here immediately or I'll sue this hospital for ruining my marriage.
08:20Nurse Morgan.
08:22I thought Dr. Montgomery said there were no signs of brain damage.
08:26Oh, I don't know if his unique perspective is a result of the stroke or something he came in with.
08:33Morning, baby.
08:34From the looks of it, you seem to be recovering nicely.
08:40Are you getting some sleep when you're not assaulting nurses?
08:43He has been on work calls since 6 a.m.
08:45Hey, whose side are you on?
08:49I thought you'd like me.
08:51I like my job more.
08:53The last time I checked, there's only one side when it comes to you and me, baby.
08:59Now you're speaking my language.
09:00To my complete and utter amazement, that live stream was fun.
09:06And you were a natural.
09:08I don't often get a chance to chat with that many people.
09:10And at the same time, that must sound hopelessly lame to you.
09:15Why would you say that?
09:17You're this social media guru.
09:20You post your life to millions like it's the most natural thing in the world.
09:23My carefully curated life.
09:25My followers think that they know everything about me, but they only know what I choose to reveal.
09:32You're really something different.
09:34Is that bad or good?
09:38I'm still deciding.
09:40In the meantime, I've got to go.
09:42Rounds.
09:43Well, I hope to see you soon.
09:45Same.
09:46Can I be honest?
09:58As long as it doesn't bruise my male ego.
10:02Oh, please.
10:03You know exactly how good you are in that department.
10:08I want to say something serious.
10:11Okay.
10:11Everything inside me is screaming that I want you.
10:19I'm liking where this is going.
10:22Punish me some more.
10:25But something inside me broke when built.
10:29Let's just say it.
10:32Money jumped me.
10:35And I want to fix it.
10:39But I can't figure out how to fix it.
10:41Let me help you.
10:47I can try.
10:52Danny.
10:55Sweetheart.
10:58Daddy.
11:04Be right there, Daddy!
11:05Do not move.
11:17Jacob?
11:19Vernon.
11:20Hey, I, uh...
11:21I need your help.
11:23Naomi's acting kind of off.
11:26She says it's nothing, but I think it has to do with her concern for Bill.
11:30It has her mother, but...
11:31Danny already has enough to deal with.
11:33Where is Naomi?
11:35We're at Ophie Jeans.
11:36On my way.
11:40Sweetie, I gotta run.
11:42I'll try to stop by later on.
11:47Help.
11:51Are you sure I can get you a cup of coffee?
11:54He's gone.
11:55He's gone!
11:56Oh, thank God.
12:03Coffee?
12:05With that shot of adrenaline?
12:08No!
12:09The last thing I need is for my father to walk in on me in bed with someone.
12:13You're a lot of our lovers.
12:15Yes, yes I am.
12:16Just nowhere near where my father can see, hear, or suspect anything.
12:19I love being with you, but this feels so weird, especially with...
12:24You don't have to say his name, okay?
12:26I get it.
12:27I get it.
12:28I don't know if you've noticed, but the woman you're sleeping with is an ungodly mess.
12:36Wait, who snuck all this in?
12:39Tomas or Caroline?
12:40Uh, I refuse to answer on the grounds of my saucer.
12:45I dry up.
12:46You know what?
12:46You don't need all this annoying legal stuff.
12:50I'll bring you some infant parenting books.
12:53You know, since your daughters are old enough to make you a grandfather, you...
12:57You know, might not remember what you need to do to raise a baby.
13:01They'll remind you, okay?
13:04Well, I'll have you know that I happen to be an excellent father.
13:08I know, I know.
13:11Why else do you think I'm having your baby?
13:16How are you holding up, sweetheart?
13:18I hope all of this hasn't caused any undue stress on you.
13:21I'm fine, but...
13:23It'll be wise not to scare me like that again.
13:33There's been enough fighting.
13:34None of us behaved perfectly all those years ago.
13:40Some a little more imperfectly than others.
13:44But beating each other up about the past won't change anything, and it certainly won't bring Barbara back.
13:49So you're saying we should just forget about Barbara?
13:53Is that what you're saying?
13:54If we could.
13:55No.
13:56But even though we collectively put Barbara through a lot of pain, she loved us once.
14:04And I don't think she would want us going on hurting each other.
14:09So, how do we move past the past?
14:14Is there any future for the articulates?
14:17Even if it's just one last performance?
14:22I don't know if we can ever get past the pain.
14:26For one, Tanita and I agree on something.
14:29Well, I don't agree.
14:30And I will prove both of you wrong.
14:36Yesterday, you were shattered about your father's stroke.
14:39And now today, you're back at work and don't want to see him?
14:41What's up with that?
14:42Jacob, connect the dots.
14:44My father's getting the best care.
14:45I have work to do.
14:47He doesn't need me.
14:49Nonsense.
14:53Hi, Granddad.
14:55What's that supposed to mean, your father doesn't need you?
14:58Because I'm the reason he's in the hospital in the first place.
15:06It's all my fault.
15:17Why don't we head over to Orfie Jean's for some of that famous breakfast castle roll?
15:25I'm more of a country club kind of gal.
15:27True.
15:28But that works, too.
15:30Hey, rain check, okay?
15:32I gotta go to the hospital and check in on Bill.
15:35Okay.
15:36Not to sound like a stalker, but I need to go there, too.
15:40Yeah, the hospital board wants me to bring over the raw footage of the nursing documentary.
15:44Oh, we could write it over to cancer.
15:46I thought we were keeping our situation ship a secret.
15:53Right.
15:55You just say the word, Miss Dupree, and I'll make an honest woman out of you.
16:00Too late for that.
16:05Come here.
16:05Four little colored girls growing up in the projects, bonding over our love of music and our desire to be somebody's one day.
16:26Remember the way we loved each other?
16:30The loyalty between us?
16:32I remember if one of us had a beef with someone, we all had a beef.
16:44To get to you, they had to go through me.
16:46And me.
16:48Then I had y'all's back, too.
16:49So did Barbara.
16:55More than any of us.
17:00I remember how devastated I was when I lost my father.
17:04I didn't leave my room for days.
17:08Until the three of you literally dragged me out of my bed back into the world.
17:14Our world.
17:16The best world.
17:19The love was real.
17:22The sisterhood was real.
17:24And it's still here.
17:27All we have to do is reclaim it.
17:33I'm willing to put the past behind us and walk into the future with my sisters again.
17:42I know that we cannot be the same girls in this picture.
17:49But we can be the women in this room.
17:54We can put our differences aside and be friends again.
17:58There's nothing I'd like more, but we can't seem to do that.
18:03Because some people make it difficult.
18:06I know you're not talking about me.
18:07None of that.
18:09Okay?
18:10Today is a new day.
18:11This could be our last chance to be as close as we once were.
18:20And grab some applause while we're at it.
18:24Isn't that at least worth a try?
18:39Talk to your granddad, baby.
18:41I'll go take some calls from the station.
18:42So now, what's all this foolishness all about, huh?
18:54You can't possibly blame yourself for your father's stroke.
19:00I saw the signs, granddad.
19:03I know my dad better than anyone.
19:05Certainly better than Haley.
19:06And I knew something was wrong.
19:11The way he was dropping things and losing his words.
19:15And I didn't make him get it checked out.
19:17I just let it happen.
19:19And now you stop that right now.
19:22I am not going to let you take blame for something that was in God's hands, not yours.
19:28That kind of guilt can eat you alive, Naomi.
19:35Someone close to me blamed herself for her friend's death.
19:41She carried that guilt for years.
19:45Until it snuck up on her and nearly broke her.
19:50Well, thank God that he stroked and didn't have worse consequences.
19:56I agree.
19:58You ask me.
20:00Man's damn lucky you and your sister are still willing to be in his life.
20:05All right.
20:06Close your eyes.
20:07Raise your arms out in front.
20:09All right.
20:10Hold them up for a count of four, three, two, one, zero.
20:16That's better than the last time, right?
20:18He's improving.
20:19Your right arm and leg are still weaker than your left.
20:22Although your wife's right.
20:24There's a slight improvement.
20:25And I can hear that your speech is no longer impaired.
20:28It'll take time and treatment.
20:30But I think we're looking at a full recovery.
20:34Boy, no.
20:34I thought the TNK treatment and the thrombectomy was supposed to be as good as new.
20:38She's a doctor, Dad, not a miracle worker.
20:42Your daughter's right.
20:43While the treatment and the procedure tend to have a high success rate, you're going to need to make a little more effort.
20:50Wait, like what?
20:52Isn't it your job to cure me?
20:53Bill!
20:54The doctor obviously knows what she's doing.
20:58Yeah, she's very good at what she does.
21:05This is what I need for Danny's show.
21:08Sorry, I'm not here to interrupt.
21:10Since when?
21:11I don't want to cause any trouble.
21:13I just, I'm checking in.
21:14I'm glad you came, Mom.
21:17Madison, Dr. Montgomery, was just giving Dad his marching orders.
21:22If you want to get better, you're going to need rehab.
21:26I have been on an emotional rollercoaster ever since the reunion idea first came up.
21:44What are you feeling now?
21:47Hopeful.
21:49I know I may not have acted like it, but the articulates have always been my first love.
21:56They say wisdom comes with age, and I know we had something special.
22:02And I know that bond may be a little tattered and in some ways broken, but if there is any way to salvage even an iota of that sisterhood that we shared, I am certainly willing to try.
22:17Thank you for that.
22:20Tracy is right.
22:24Oh, hush.
22:25Caring around all that anger is exhausting.
22:30You know, for years, I thought, just wait until I tell Anita what I think of her.
22:39And then I did.
22:44And then it didn't make me feel any better.
22:47Not really.
22:50For now, at least I'm willing to try and see if we can get back some of what we lost.
22:56Maybe it'll work, maybe not.
23:02But we'll never know unless we give it a shot.
23:08At friendship or a reunion?
23:12Come on.
23:13You know how we do.
23:14No half-stepping.
23:17We tackle both.
23:19I like the sound of that.
23:21I like the sound of that, too.
23:23Better together, sisters forever, articulate, strong.
23:37Oh, this feels so good.
23:41So damn good.
23:44Believe me, I know what I'm talking about where guilt is concerned.
23:49I can't imagine you'd do anything to feel guilty about, granddad.
23:55That's because young people think they invented mischief and bad behavior.
24:01Okay, I am officially intrigued.
24:03Did I ever tell you about my Uncle Cornelius?
24:08Yeah, he was pretty active in the movement, right?
24:12The man often walked alongside Dr. K.
24:16They were very close.
24:20After the assassination, Uncle Cornelius' health began to decline.
24:28I swear you could see him age right before your eyes.
24:31You know folks say it's mind over body, but I think it's spirit over body.
24:38One evening, summer of 69, Uncle Cornelius came home to spend some time with our branch of the Dupree's.
24:49So we were shooting hoops, and I'm playing horse, as I recall.
24:54Suddenly, in the middle of the game, he fell to his knees, and I ran to see if he was okay.
25:02He brushed me off.
25:03He said, it was just a long day at work.
25:08He was tired, and I didn't tell anyone.
25:12Later that night, I was awakened by an ambulance outside my bedroom window.
25:23I pulled back the curtains to see them take my uncle out on a stretcher.
25:30Turns out, he had a stroke.
25:35Kept him hospitalized for months.
25:37Couldn't walk.
25:39Couldn't speak.
25:42Eventually, Uncle Cornelius made a full recovery.
25:47But throughout that entire time, I couldn't help but feel guilty for not letting the family know what had happened that afternoon.
25:56But, Grandad, there's no way you could have known a stroke was imminent.
26:00No, there wasn't.
26:04After his recovery, I told Uncle Cornelius how I felt.
26:11And how I promised God I would never play ball again if only he'd pull through.
26:20That must have hurt you to your heart, Grandad.
26:22Oh, you know it did.
26:24He assured me that his stroke had nothing to do with our game that afternoon.
26:32That it was a long time coming.
26:37Uncle Cornelius and I played many more games after that.
26:44Now go tell your father to focus on getting better.
26:49And you, too, have your own ballgames to play.
27:06You know, I was really hoping to go home today.
27:09Well, that's not going to happen.
27:11But the good news is, you can start your PT at the hospital and continue it at home after you're discharged.
27:17Do you have anyone the hospital can recommend?
27:20We have an excellent physical therapist on staff.
27:24Before her promotion, she was my go-to.
27:26I worked with her myself when I threw out my back.
27:28Can't she start immediately?
27:31Ask her yourself.
27:32She's right outside.
27:33Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton, I'm Shanice Johnson.
27:50Yeah, we know who you are, Shanice.
27:52Well, I'll leave you in Shanice's capable hands.
27:54Excuse me, I have an important call to make.
28:02I'm confused.
28:03I thought you were a nurse.
28:05Supervisor of nurses.
28:06But I started my career as a physical therapist.
28:10How many years has it been since you've been hands-on in rehabilitation?
28:13Two days ago.
28:14I've never really stopped.
28:15I continue to do PT part-time at multiple rehab centers in the DMV.
28:20I'm happy to share references if you need them.
28:22Oh, that won't be necessary.
28:23Oh, it sure as hell will be necessary.
28:25I'm not going to have some nurse working on me.
28:27Bill!
28:28Remember that dumbass boy had the neck injury last year?
28:32Yeah, a diving accident.
28:34Thanks to Shanice, he's walking again.
28:37He worked very hard.
28:39Took my advice word for word, and now he's fully recovered.
28:42I'm so glad to see you.
28:43You too.
28:44Though I hope that doesn't mean something wrong.
28:46No, no, thank goodness.
28:48Good.
28:48I'm actually here to drop off the drive with the raw footage from the documentary.
28:52But the hospital admin secretary is not at her desk.
28:56And I don't want to just leave it.
28:57So, could you please give this to her?
29:02Come on.
29:03Please.
29:04No problem.
29:05Thank you.
29:06Do I help?
29:06I can't help but wonder if their request to see all the raw footage has to do with the
29:11Leslie Thomas case.
29:14I don't know.
29:16I didn't think about that, but it certainly could.
29:18Thank you for using your skills to help my dad.
29:23While I'd like you to believe I'm giving your father extra special care, I treat all my patients
29:28the same.
29:29Wouldn't expect anything less.
29:32Bill fully intends to be fit enough to teach our little Hamilton to swim, play t-ball, ride
29:38a bike, and every other wonderful thing that he's do with their kiddos, right?
29:43Absolutely.
29:44You should do well, then.
29:45I'll be back in a little while to start our first session.
29:48You and I will be seeing a lot of each other.
29:51Oh, joy.
29:52That wasn't personal.
29:54I'm not offended.
29:55Thanks for stopping by, Danny.
30:00Would you mind giving us a private moment now?
30:03Of course.
30:05Danny?
30:06Yeah.
30:08Thanks for checking on me.
30:09I appreciate it.
30:12I'm glad you're doing better.
30:18She was surprisingly well behaved.
30:23Yeah, she can be.
30:25I'm cashing in my rain check on that Orphe-Jean's breakfast casserole.
30:42Okay.
30:42Sure.
30:44Sure.
30:46Here's Johnson dial 331.
30:48Vernon, there you are.
30:58Tracy and Sharon have agreed to the reunion concert.
31:01Oh, that's wonderful.
31:04Wonderful.
31:06Well, these are your bags.
31:07We're rehearsing in Chicago right away.
31:10We need time to remember the old material, get our harmonies back, not to mention the choreography.
31:16You're leaving for Chicago now?
31:18I promise to come back as often as I can.
31:21You'll hardly miss me.
31:22And I try to let the family know what's going on, but nobody's picking up their phone.
31:26Can you please explain to them why I have to do this?
31:30I know, I know.
31:32I'm so sorry.
31:33I know this is happening really fast.
31:35Well, you know how eager I've been for you to do the concert.
31:39Even when I wasn't.
31:41And I was thinking maybe you could come with me, but then I checked your calendar.
31:45Yeah, I do have teaching and speaking commitments this month.
31:49But you can get away on the weekends.
31:51Oh, it'll be like the old days, me grabbing time with you in between rehearsals.
31:59Why Chicago?
32:00Why can't you rehearse here in Maryland or D.C.?
32:05We talked about that.
32:07And you realized you all had to get back to where it began.
32:14Exactly that.
32:15I have to get back to my roots.
32:17I have to reconnect with the past and stop pretending that I came out of the womb fully formed.
32:26Anita Dupree and everything that happened between then and now was some kind of fever dream that didn't matter.
32:33It matters.
32:35Tracy and Sharon and Barbara matter.
32:39I have to confront what I've buried and look at it up close and personal and try to make things right.
32:50If I don't, I'll be carrying around the past and the mistakes I've made for the rest of my life.
32:57And I just can't carry that weight any longer.
33:01I understand.
33:04You always do.
33:06Be honest with me, Madison.
33:18Do you really think that my father will make a full recovery?
33:22I'm pretty confident he will if...
33:24Rehab.
33:26He'll hate that.
33:27Does he listen to you?
33:29Sometimes.
33:29I promise I'll do what I can, but if you haven't already noticed, Bill Hamilton doesn't do anything that he does not want to do.
33:39Well, Shanice is a force of nature, so I'm sure she'll give your formidable dad a run for his money.
33:45And plus, I'm no wallflower myself.
33:48Copy that.
33:50I'm glad you're my dad's doctor.
33:53So am I to catch you around?
33:55Around.
33:55I can't remember the last time I was here.
34:08Yeah, that's your loss.
34:10Orphegene's has the best soul food in all of D.C.
34:13Maybe even the whole DMV.
34:15Uh, you're hyping it up a bit much.
34:17Nah, you gotta order and judge for yourself.
34:19Should we be doing this in public?
34:29That's the least of my concern.
34:32Denny, the only thing that I'm concerned about right now is to make sure you're not in any more pain.
34:37It's easier said than done.
34:43Was it seeing Hayley and Bill?
34:46Bill and I were so kind to each other.
34:48And it felt the way things used to.
34:53Minus Hayley as a spectator, of course.
34:56I'm so sorry, Andre.
34:59I'm sure I sound like some pathetic woman yearning after her ex.
35:02No, there's nothing pathetic about you.
35:04Alright?
35:05I just wish that there was something I could do to stop you from hurting so much.
35:09You're doing it.
35:10Trust me.
35:11In more ways than you know.
35:14The question is whether I can keep myself from hurting you.
35:22The way Bill hurt me.
35:29So good to see you, sweetheart.
35:32Good to see you, Bill.
35:33Feeling better?
35:34Nah.
35:35It's big to do about nothing.
35:37Hope so.
35:38I'm gonna get out your way.
35:40Let you and Naomi have some father-daughter time.
35:42Are you trying to kick me out of my husband's hospital room?
35:46I, um, I haven't had the chance to thank you for taking care of my dad.
35:55We all owe you a debt of gratitude for getting him here so quickly.
36:00Thank you, Naomi.
36:03From you, that means a lot.
36:07So, Bill, I'm about to go to the cafeteria for herbal tea, okay?
36:11Oh, you don't have to leave on my account.
36:13No, no, no, no, no.
36:14Jacob is right.
36:16You and your father need a little time together.
36:18And remember, Shanice will be back any minute for your physical therapy.
36:23Okay?
36:23Okay.
36:30So, how are you feeling?
36:35Really feeling that?
36:38Well, you know, other than the fact that they're forcing physical therapy on me, I feel fine.
36:45You know, the doctor expects a full recovery.
36:48Well, thank God.
36:49Mm-hmm.
36:51Now, will you promise me you'll take your PT seriously?
36:55Ah, maybe I'll do my best.
36:57And this reminds me, you're overdue and preparing my will.
37:01Oh, I don't want to talk about that.
37:03You're not going anyplace.
37:04Yeah, I know.
37:05I don't plan to.
37:06But, you know, as a lawyer, you have to understand that we have to plan for all the eventualities.
37:11We all live with death riding right beside us, so...
37:16Is that for me?
37:17Or are you saving it for somebody else?
37:20Well, it is fresh Orphe-Jean's banana pudding, so you tell me.
37:25I'm telling you to give it to me right now.
37:27Come on, come on.
37:30Hey.
37:32Not so fast.
37:33That is nuts.
37:34What the doctor ordered, Mr. Hamilton?
37:39So much for that.
37:41Ready for physical therapy?
37:42It's going to be a bit of a challenge to tell the family that you decided to head to Chicago overnight.
37:54There's a lot of backstory they don't know.
37:56Yeah, I know.
37:56But, it's what you need.
38:02So go, my love.
38:04With my blessing and full support.
38:07And don't worry.
38:09I'll hold down the fort here.
38:11How did I get so lucky to find you?
38:16You always understand, even when I know, deep down inside, you really don't.
38:23I love you, Vernon Dupree.
38:28That's one thing I'm sure of.
38:30And I love you more than life itself.
38:37You take good care of yourself in that windy city here.
38:40You know I will.
38:44I'll be thinking about you every day that you're gone.
38:48Beyond the Gates, some mistakes don't come with warnings.
39:00Danny, sweetheart.
39:02Just consequences.
39:04It is the end of the world as we know it.
