00:00DRS, I want to buy in on the Bengals.

00:03Unlike the other two teams that have a shorter price than Kansas City

00:06to win the AFC Championship,

00:09Joe Burrow and the Bengals are the only quarterback and team tandem

00:12that have actually taken down Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City

00:17and represented the AFC in a Super Bowl since Mahomes became the starter,

00:22or at least in the last half decade.

00:25I want to buy into the Bengals.

00:27Should I, on any of those numbers,

00:30knowing all of the concerns on the defensive side of the ball

00:34and who might even be playing defense for Cincy in 2025?

00:39That's the hard part.

00:40They'll be competitive.

00:40Like, you see the win total.

00:41It's 10 games.

00:42You go 10-7, you're probably going to make the playoffs.

00:44We'll talk about that certainly just a little bit later in the show as well.

00:47But from an offensive standpoint, they're going to move the football.

00:50They have one of the best offenses in the league,

00:52not because I love their offensive line or their play caller here.

00:54I just love the fact that Joe Burrow is a great quarterback.

00:56He has two dynamic wide receivers on the outside.

00:59And understand this.

01:00The rule of thumb for the Cincinnati Bengals isn't,

01:03let's just play good offense, let's slow the game down,

01:05and let's lean on our defense like some teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers,

01:08let's just say we'll try to do here in 2025.

01:11This is a team that's going to make, all right, win the coin toss.

01:14Oh, we lost it.

01:14Okay, guys, let's huddle up here.

01:15We're down 7-0.

01:16Wait, the game didn't get, yep, we're down 7-0.

01:18We're going to get scored in here.

01:19We got a counter right away.

01:21Like, we don't know exactly how the defense is going to work out,

01:24but it wasn't a good defense, and it's losing more pieces.

01:27And if you lose Trey Hendrickson, what do you absolutely have on defense

01:30with a rookie coming in?

01:31I want to say it's not fair to call Al Golden a rookie.

01:33He's been around the block multiple times.

01:35But a new coordinator saying, I don't have much firepower here to work with.

01:39What am I supposed to do here at this point?

01:41So, for me saying, can they do damage?

01:43No.

01:44Can they win games?

01:45Yes.

01:45But we know as well as, you know, everybody else.

01:47When you get to some of these games against elite offenses

01:50and good football teams, you can't just say, we'll win this 35-34.

01:54That doesn't work, particularly in the playoffs as well.
