From the classic spangles to chocolate cigarettes, there used to be some amazing sweets in our shops, but for one reason or another, much to people’s frustrations plenty of them have been discontinued. We’re asking the people of Cardiff which ones they’d love to bring back.

00:06One of my friends from quite a long ago used to talk about Altoid mints quite a lot.
00:09He used to get them in the little tins, you just can't find them anywhere anymore.
00:12And he's been trying very hard to try and get somebody who just can't find them anywhere.
00:16There's one of these sweets that's perhaps full of sugar that's perhaps not as popular anymore because they're full of sugar anymore.
00:21Not me personally, I'm more of a savoury man. I like crisps, I do, which is a real problem because I've been on a diet so I've blocked myself.
00:28But my daughter, she's 12, but at the time she was about 10, she kept asking me for, you remember flying discs?
00:35I was working away at London at the time and I actually managed to find a whole pack of flying discs.
00:40Quite up to date with my sweets to be fair, I'm all kind of, yeah, mice and stuff, but I'm quite modern in terms of sweets and stuff.
00:46My sweets and stuff I kind of like, I still find in shops I think.
00:49I tell you what I did used to love, they used to do these chocolate cigarettes, but the chocolate was gorgeous and they come in packs and they had like rice paper.
00:57But I guess they're not going to bring them back, you know?
