00:15In recent months, the company has faced a reputational crisis resulting from allegations

00:20which include moral harassment, discrimination based on weight and sexual orientation,

00:24restrictions on pregnancy among employees and impositions considered abusive to franchisees.

00:30Former franchisees report a work environment characterized by harassment, demands

00:34compulsory financial obligations and lack of adequate support, making commercial operations unviable.

00:40Furthermore, there are records of internal practices classified as rituals, as well as a culture

00:45corporate that would excessively highlight the figure of the CEO, Ale Costa.

00:50The Public Ministry of Labor, MPT, announced its intention to investigate the situation.

00:55Faced with the accusations, CEO Ale Costa sent a letter to franchisees, encouraging them

01:01not to be influenced by rumors and to minimize supposed rituals, describing them

01:05as mere symbolic moments.

01:08The company, in turn, reaffirms its commitment to a relationship of trust and partnership with

01:13its franchisees, highlighting that more than 50% of them have been linked to the brand for more than

01:19Despite the controversies, Cacau Show maintains its growth trajectory and is committed to

01:24an ambitious expansion plan.

01:26One of the projects under development is Cacau Park, a leisure and tourism complex located

01:31in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo, with an opening scheduled for 2027.

01:36In addition, the company expanded its operations into the hotel sector with the Bendito Cação chain,

01:41converting previously loss-making hotels into a multi-million dollar venture focused on

01:45to the sensory experience with Cocoa, including themed accommodations, a museum dedicated

01:50to chocolate and specialized gastronomy.

01:53In the financial sphere, Cacau Show recorded record revenue of R$430 million in

01:59direct sales in 2024 and projects to reach R$750 million in this channel by 2025.

02:06The brand continues to adopt an aggressive growth strategy, aiming to reach 4,750 units

02:12by the end of the year, with the opening of more than 500 stores annually since 2020.

02:18The company has also invested in technological innovation with the implementation of the so-called

02:22Store of the Future, which features a 3D avatar of CEO Ale Costa to welcome visitors
