00:12way to an Israeli port. The British-flagged yacht, called Madeleine, is run by the pro-Palestinian
00:18Freedom Flotilla Coalition. It aims to deliver a small amount of aid to Gaza and draw global
00:24attention to the humanitarian crisis there. But before it could reach the shore, the boat was
00:30boarded by Israeli forces. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz says it was a propaganda effort in
00:37support of Hamas. The Israeli Foreign Ministry says, quote, the selfie yacht of the celebrities
00:43is safely making its way to the shores of Israel. The passengers are expected to return to their home
00:48countries. The United Nations human rights expert on Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese,
00:54says, quote, while Madeleine has been released immediately, every Mediterranean port should
00:59send boats with aid, solidarity, and humanity to Gaza.
