Legal challenge against Woodside extension expected

A bid to compel the government to consider a heritage application to protect Indigenous rock art is going to court as three environmental activists declare they "successfully hoaxed" Woodside.

00:06And at the end of the day, you know, for all Aboriginal cultural significant areas

00:12and those sacred sites that belong to those tribes from there,

00:16as Mother Kunia Christian custodians, we don't own any land.

00:21We don't own it. We belong to it. There's a difference.

00:24This is why we speak. It's no longer do you stand back and watch these governments of this country

00:32and the industry to get bigger and bigger and shut us down because we're not going to get shut down.

00:50This place is magic. This place is something that's worth finding good.

00:58And I can tell you now that it's more important than you think,

01:04This is in our backyard. This is our Bible. This is our history.

01:08This is our heritage and this is our world that they're destroying.

01:12And it needs to stop.

01:14And I'm a young person my age. I'm 26 years old this year.

01:22And I'm telling you right now, it's going to 2070.
