00:00hello welcome back welcome back to the manhole sewer so this is part of the
00:07asylum just to let you know that so it's actually called the asylum manhole sewer
00:14that's what it's called but for now I've just called it manhole sewer so as I can't
00:19call it that I've got to give it the full name because there's a couple of different
00:23sewers inside red bandali and we'll be customized with bending shaping as we go
00:30as you remember in the last part of the video we kind of done the top half of it
00:35as I said at the very bottom of this we've got a circle like this I put a
00:40circle on it just in case you want to extend it up a little bit put some bars in it
00:44or you might want basically to take the cylinder up to the next level but it's again
00:52it's optional it's entirely up to you if you want to do that as I said I'll put
00:57the templates into the template just in case you want to continue building the
01:03actual tunnel system above the ceiling as it it's entirely optional all you have to
01:09do basically if you just select the whole lot of that not the inside just
01:16selectable top so you select up select all the floor copy paste it and move it up that way you
01:25can continue the rest of this up here as I said that's for later on not just yet so as I said when
01:32you come underneath here now the idea is to build some rooms under here so as I said you don't come
01:40under here you see how you can't you see how you can't see through that now the idea is to make a
01:46floor on this because I'm trying to use the maximum potential of everything that's in the level so I'm
01:54trying to use everything to to maximum ability so ideally we want to be able to make a floor here so we
02:02can put some rooms up here maybe some cells maybe I don't know it could be anything
02:08this could be where they do the operations this could be the morgue for the
02:14hospital as I said it's up to you whatever it is you want to put down here but
02:18down again you can leave it like this so as I said I'm customised twist bend and
02:22shape it that's what I'm doing so first of all I want to do down here the same as up there so you see
02:29here we got squares on the floor so I'll show you how you guys doing that go into standard mode which
02:34is standard of course you want to look inside the building now when you save it out automatically by
02:40default it saves it on this look so what it does it puts these lines in there see these lines here
02:46so what you want to do is go to the line tool of course you don't have to do this part because I'm
02:52already doing it for you so you go here this is what I'm going to do but if you want to basically
02:58drop down the actual geometry so it's a little bit less for your machine of course this is what
03:05you do you select the lines that you don't want in my case I don't want any of these lines so take
03:12these so I want to do this one and I'm going to show you what I'm going to do to hold up so what I
03:18would do is go around and select every single part of it to select it the upper key less on the keyboard
03:25and then just click the lines that you don't want just like this as I said you can select them all
03:33together and then you can just do you can just take them all together as I go across like this
03:39and that's about it right click and then go dissolve and as you can see the geometry now is a bit more simple
03:48of course when I say back out and say back in again it's going to look like that so it's going to add on back in
03:54but anyway I'll explain the reason for it in a few moments so you're gonna have to bear with me for a few
04:01minutes just while I quickly go around and select all these edges as I say I'll do it all pretty quick
04:07so it don't take too long on the video as I say but I'm making it so weak from scratch I like to make sure you
04:13understand exactly what I'm doing so I'll do that part and then I'll go inside the building then I'll
04:19select all these parts so I'll make sure I'll select the wrong one otherwise I'm going to give myself a
04:25problem not much of a problem but I'm trying to give myself less work as possible as I said I want to
04:36show you how to do it and I want to tell you which keys to press as I've heard the last side now so I want to
04:41spin it around a little bit I'm going to zoom back a little bit so I'm going to drag it over a little
04:47bit then I'm going to half tilt it so make sure I get right in that gap and then because I'm because
04:54I do load two squares void it's not so much a little gap so it's kind of easier just to edit
05:00that's the idea of the two squares in the first place now I'll just right click here and go dissolve
05:08so all that's gone you see how it's got rid of that one put it back just press undo press this one and
05:16I'll do this one right click and go dissolve make sure you don't delete your actual geometry that you
05:23actually need as I said now when I've done I can just kind of half tilt it a little bit and I can just
05:29select them as I said when you select them make sure you check the actual you've selected the right
05:35geometry because sometimes even when you go really careful you somehow you end up kind of selecting one
05:43of the wrong pieces not like that I say it just happens sometimes it just does but you know if you're
05:52really really careful I suppose you it won't happen to you but of course yeah I'm going to tell you I'm
05:59only human man yeah I'll make mistakes so yeah I'm not going to tell you that I don't make any because
06:05I do right click and dissolve those as I said you want to kind of keep the geometry like this until
06:11we're actually ready to export it as I said as you can see I have exported so it I've exported it
06:17back in so it looks like this so as I say just just watch what you're doing when you when it comes
06:23to selecting the models I need to select that line there now I can't select it because I'm actually
06:29looking through the record so you know that to select this one I say I want to kind of a bit of a
06:39funny angle so I can't quite get it but I will get it so as I said just bear with me I'm almost there anyway
06:48I've only got a couple more to do as I said because I exported it that's where the lines are actually
06:54here so in a moment I'll be saving it like this so I don't have to keep doing this but as I said I
07:03like to export it because I want to show you how to get it out and I want to show you how to re-edit
07:08it's like the same thing just in case you actually do it yourself and you think you bring back it so
07:13well how come I can't do it because you can't wrap a line around it if you've got these lines in it
07:18so I think in here yeah right click and just go dissolve just check it make sure there's nothing wrong
07:28way okay it's all kind of looking okay apart from the ceiling so we need to go to the ceiling see
07:34that line there just get rid of that we don't want these lines in there so we can get rid of those
07:40we do want them in there we don't want it in there yet so I'll do that I want to keep that line
07:46dissolve that dissolve that dissolve that dissolve that dissolve that dissolve that as I said just go
07:56around kind of tidy up the actual mess as I said you can select them all together if you want to
08:03select them all together you can hold the upper key that's on the keyboard and then you can work on
08:08it like that okay so what I'm going to do I'll go here I'll save you the blender folder because when
08:14you save you the blender folder it will save it just like that so that way in future I'll just work
08:19on it like that so I won't have to keep doing it so I want to make this part the indie of course you
08:25don't have to have slabs in here but like here I want slabs but of course you don't have to have
08:30them you can delete all the slabs and have just one single square or you can delete all the middle
08:35bits and have one big long piece of concrete which is kind of better for the game world because it's
08:40going to run a lot faster but yeah I don't want to do that because the way I'm going to make it it's
08:46going to run absolutely perfect so I ain't going to worry about it so anyway all you want to do is
08:52kind of just flick around to the side and you see these ones here let me go here you see these lines
09:01here I think you know yeah we don't want those lines don't delete it click on the line and go dissolve
09:10click the line go dissolve as I said these lines shouldn't be there as I said sometimes I actually
09:18miss bits of the geometry so go back here just resave it I'll go back here so I'll click this one
09:25and I'll delete it and just resave it now we just saved like that now all I have to do to make slabs
09:32down here and then obviously you just go here don't do that just look at each one of these put one
09:40there one there one there one there one there and one there okay obviously we don't need to do the
09:48ceiling because we don't actually need to do the ceiling but again I'm going to tell you just put
09:53just do the ceiling temporarily for now so just go here okay all you want to do is half tilt it
10:00kind of zoom in a little bit so you can kind of see what I'm doing press K on the keyboard go from
10:05this line to this line and say yeah press K on the keyboard go from this line to this line and say
10:16yeah okay leave it like that the idea of that is so as I said to you because we might want to have
10:23slabs on the floor and I might want tiles on the ceiling obviously it all depends on how you're
10:29going to go about building your actual geometry so as I said down here put a line there put a line
10:35there and you can see now we've got slabs all the way down the pavement we've got the same here we've got
10:41slabs all the way down here you want one slab down here you can leave the ceiling like that if you want to
10:46and I've got pieces of wood if you want to do that I've said it's entirely optional it's up to you
10:52well I'm not having one like that I want actually maybe tiles on the ceiling of course I want to go crazy with
11:00floor tiles because it's going to be yeah a little bit kind of horrendous so I'm thinking I might have
11:05more concrete here maybe maybe concrete maybe maybe this is going to be tiles and maybe this is going to be wood
11:14yeah yeah it all depends on how I want to go about making it so as I said you can leave it like that
11:20as I said if I want to tile to the ceiling again I can put the line in there look it will go halfway
11:27so I put this line in there and then I've got to join it to there I've got to join from there to there
11:33then I've got another line in and it should go from here to here obviously you won't go there not yet
11:39you won't because I haven't put that lining so as I said you want to do the ceiling do the ceiling
11:44put the ceiling in one there one there okay zoom back in a little bit press k on the keyboard go from
11:53point a to point b press enter press k on the keyboard go from point a to point b see yep okay that's the
12:02center of the center of our ceiling now you see here look put one here one here put one here one here
12:10click here zoom in press k on the keyboard now of course you didn't join it because this is in the way
12:18go here and go here join it press k on the keyboard go from here to here press k on the keyboard
12:26now if you look at your model let me just go here go over here press edit as you can see the whole
12:38entire model now let me tick off that the whole model now is all ready and it's all been it's all
12:45been chopped up into squares so I can have roof tiles ceiling tiles I can have any kind of little to me
12:51it's whatever it's whatever my personal preference is so as I do the floor tiles so obviously you can
12:57get four tiles per blender square the blender square is made up of four tiles the ceiling tiles
13:04do a little bit bigger like this look of course I can half it again so if I put one here look
13:09then I have to join it to here now I can put a line in there look you put the line in like that
13:15and then I have to join it here I am not going to do that because it won't actually physically join
13:22to there because then I've got to make a few more extra joins in there I'm not doing that
13:27I'm going to join it exactly like that so the ceiling is going to have bigger bigger bigger tiles on it
13:32maybe they're not tiles maybe I'm going to have extra lights down it so yeah I'm going to have lights in
13:39there but that's what I want to do just let you know that so I want to click off this so I'm thinking
13:45okay every like second one so let's say this one here so I'll have a look at it first and see how
13:51it looks so we have that one that one this one this one and this one um yeah not bad but there's not
14:01enough squares there because um we can't have that one because it's right on the edge but we can't
14:07it just means we can't pick that one on the next on the piece that attaches to this it just means
14:12yellow light here then we have to miss the next light and then do another light there yeah we can
14:17do that if we want to do whatever as I said it's entirely our preference but I'm thinking okay the light
14:23thing is not kind of working not in a straight line I'm thinking I'll still get all these lights were
14:27showing down onto here so I'm thinking yeah I don't want too much light down here because yeah at the end of
14:35the day it's a sewer now if it if it is a if it is a train station then it's different you can have
14:41you can have the light you can have ceiling lights but um I'm thinking yeah no I'm not doing that I'm
14:47going to put like more lights on the wall so they kind of shine down on an angle so you can still see
14:54a kind of reflection just yeah anyway as I said I don't put too much light in here because don't
15:00forget the light from the tunnel up here it was showing down through the through the gap so when
15:06it's showing down if you put a cage on that if I put a cage at the end of that when the light shines
15:12down it's going to reflect the cage on the floor you're going to be able to see it so I think in here
15:19you kind of get the idea so I think okay so what else can we do well what else we can do here
15:25so we go here we can save that so we'll save this on a new one because we're going to modify it
15:31okay now uh ideally what I'm going to do here is selecting your lines select these lines here on the edge
15:44not that one not that one just select the ones on the on the edges
15:55just like that you can do those ones and these ones because we're going to connect it all together
16:05as I said I'm making the the room upstairs in the basement now this could be like I said to
16:12yeah it could be a prison cell it could be a morgue as long as always I'm going to go to extrude
16:20now I want to make sure I extrude these two squares above the floor so extrude this
16:25back there go to move move it back so it's straight when it kind of messes around undo that
16:37bring it back straight check it makes you see straight
16:42and we want it two squares above the floor maybe maybe one square let's go two squares
16:46just keep it all two squares okay so it's two squares up go and check it i think yeah not corner
16:57straight so i think okay just leave it just don't worry about that turn the snapping on and just snap it back
17:04and go back and go back in thinking that's not actually straight so let's snap it back a little bit back there
17:15so yeah i said something good sometimes good to have it on sometimes good to have it off
17:19so it kind of looks like that
17:23so begin okay click on the faces as i said you want to face these ones outwards
17:27click here face this one out click here face this one out click this one face this one out
17:44because we're not going to see we don't need to face it out but i want to face it out because i want
17:49to be able to i want you to be able to see basically just temporarily until i actually put it in the game
17:57because you're not you're not actually going to physically see this so in the game world it won't be
18:02there i will delete it so go here okay now you've done that go to the pillar itself select the pillar
18:13not the pillar go here select the lines and get rid of these lines click around select the two lines
18:21and they shouldn't have they shouldn't be too long on that there should be one line line so that's
18:27kind of got carried away with itself
18:34okay once you've done that i'll say there should be one line from the corner to corner not two lines
18:39okay now what you want to do here don't forget now this is going to be like the like the waiting
18:45area for the asylum where the cells are or however you want to do it now you see if you look here
18:52you see how he's putting a line there and a line there
18:57yeah but it's not actually connecting watch i'll put one there i'll put one there one here
19:03i'll put one here so there's a problem with the geometry just so you know that
19:08so go here press counter keyboard and we're going to work it out in a moment press this to here go to

19:20for this reason i have to do this way go here to here to here now if that was properly i'll be able
19:28to spin that right around come back to here here i said i said there shouldn't be no problem with that
19:35now what you want to do is take the line and i want to turn snap it on snap it down to this line right
19:43there so it's like that so it's got a skirting board on it basically more or less now of course
19:52this part inside here you ain't never gonna see it so we can delete that
20:03you ain't gonna see so you don't have to worry about it because you can't see this part inside the tube
20:09because you're actually inside the tube can't see and i've just noticed actually inside that tube
20:15see these lines here that i need to join it because they're not joined so i'll fix that in a moment go
20:22here again on this one you have to join the edges so i want to go here here here here here not there

22:31as i say it's up to you now how you want to go back down here floorboards here if you want to
22:42put floorboards now concrete floor you're gonna have just one big massive one massive sheet of
22:48one massive big sheet of concrete it's up to you how you want to do it ideally what you would want to
22:53do here let me go here first and get rid of this line wait click and dissolve that because that's how
22:59it should look now of course we have tiles like that if you want tiles again you have to cut it off
23:06so as i say it's your own personal preferences whatever you want to do so you can go here
23:11see we put a line here then we have one line here then of course another line over here as i said it's up to
23:18you if you want the same floor tiles you want bigger floor tiles again like the ceiling we might have
23:24bigger floor tiles we might not have floor tiles we might have a wooden floor that's what we might have
23:29but um it's up to you how you how you want to do the floor but um as i said my own personal preference
23:36is ideally to have pieces of wood like that so i would put another line there and there and there and
23:45so forth and then i'd have pieces of wood on back floor just to make it look different so i think
23:53you know okay i can put this across here like this so we're kind of splitting the floor a little bit
24:00i don't know that it makes it look a bit more different so we don't end up with the same kind
24:05of geometry everywhere as i said you don't want to go to every room and then work and find out
24:10yeah and now it's not pulling a line across there look i think you know yeah is there a problem with
24:18that one obviously there is a problem with that so check the face get rid of it go back to here put the
24:29points look at it try and fill it back in again just see if it actually does it
24:41okay so we did do it

26:13so as i said it's up to you as i'm trying to use i don't mind wasting a little bit of space like that
26:20but um i don't want to waste a whole area like that because that could be like you know that could
26:25be like a whole new level but as i said it's entitled to you wherever you want to see it's going
26:30to be underground anyway so you're not going to really know it's there until you get here
26:34and not only that you need a way to get into it so it could be a dinner it could be a dinner hall
26:41it could be anything it could be the maintenance quarter so don't forget like i told you the
26:45maintenance crew go over here so it could be a way for the maintenance crew to enter the actual
26:52building so as i said i can also have the tea dish ceiling here what i can do i can actually grab that
27:00and turn it into an elevator and have an elevator go from let's say from this list from this room
27:08to go down to here so the maintenance crew can come out and do the repair but if i'm going to put an
27:14elevator in the ceiling and that would work but i've got to make sure that if that's going to happen
27:21that there's no people underneath the elevator when it comes down from the ceiling i think in here yeah
27:30let's not put an elevator there just in case it does come down and you're underneath here and you get
27:35squashed so we don't want the character getting squashed so i've been getting here okay so temporarily
27:42just temporarily i can just go here just to kind of hold everything together we can kind of click on these
27:53just just click the ends and then press f press f
28:02just kind of go around it that's what you're doing
28:04so we're just kind of filling in the end of the gap i think we don't have to put this in here not
28:13really we don't because as i said we're not going to be able to see it but if you want to put it in
28:20there so it looks half noise so it looks like that not really looking at it and something wrong with that

28:50so just click the actual dot and then just feel happy
28:56as i say you don't have to do it but i'm going to say if i want to share the model
29:01you might be wondering why it's here so i'll fill it in for you that way you haven't got to really worry about it

29:30as i just kind of watch what you're taking on

29:38i say i wouldn't put it here basically so if you kind of wanted to stretch to see them across
29:44the actual plan across the actual platform you can so as i said i want to give you the option just
29:51in case you want to do that because you might think well if you can't do all the trouble to basically put
29:56all the details in you know then you want to put you want to give you you want to give the option
30:02just in case someone else wants to maybe modify it in a different way

32:00These ones, as I said, I'm just kind of going around, as I said, I'm going quiet because
32:12obviously there's no point in taking, keep telling you, does anything, as I said, just
32:16fill the gaps in like that, so if you're going to share it on internet, it's going to look
32:19like that. So, as I said, it's been upgraded as I'm going through it, now what you want
32:26to do here, just because I want to, as I said, this is for the upstairs, like an asylum,
32:31not for the cage, for the morgue, motor lighting for the morgue, now what you want to do here
32:37is you want to look at this edge right here, select all this edge, make sure it's the right
32:47edge, I think it's the right edge, I'll check it in a second, and it's not, of course that's
32:56the edge for the mouse, it's this one down here, I apologize for that, as I said, always
33:02check to make sure it's what you want, and then kind of go to the top view, if you want
33:10to, go to wireframe, go to extrude, now you want to turn the snapping onto this, you want
33:18to snap it out, you only want to snap it out one square, but of course, for some reason,
33:23it's messing them out, so go here, corner, if you don't move, click that, turn it off,
33:29and bring it back straight, and then drag it out, to the edge of that, go back and have
33:36a look, look, look, look at it, you're thinking here, yeah, it's not even straight, back to
33:40here, snap this back up here, do it east straight, go back and have another look at it, have a
33:47look, yeah, I don't know why it's upside down, but yeah, plenty of want to put it upside down,
33:52go over here, turn that, press this one, turn it upside down, press this one, turn it upside
34:02down, do the same here, turn it upside down, okay, now this is so, if I put a door on here,
34:09we'll be able to walk through the door, and enter the other room, just in case you want
34:14to do that, so there could be a toilet over here, it could lead to a different tunnel,
34:20and again, entirely optional, it's up to you, so as I'm trying to use the maximum available
34:28space, in the game mode, so every single part, has something to do, and only that, is to
34:39give you a lot more places to actually look, so do that, go top of you, back into my frame,
34:47go to extrude, don't forget, just extrude it once, like that, try snapping, try that,
34:57okay, so that side snaps, and the other side don't, okay, come on blender, sort it out,
35:04upside down again, click back here, as I said, sometimes you have to go back around and
35:10obviously turn the faces over, but I'll explain the faces to you in a moment, once you turn
35:19them over, to make sure the faces are actually facing, make sure you turn off, because otherwise
35:26you can't, if you watch the faces look, I'll turn it on and off, watch, you see that
35:31turn on and off look, that means they're back to front, watch, so we'll go back into here,
35:42now of course, if we keep flashing it on and off, what it's showing you, you see these ones
35:48here, they're actually up back to front, but they're not, they're actually facing the correct way, okay,
35:53so that's exactly how I want it, I'll be able to see through it, if you're on this side, but you can't see,
35:59from that side, now, we're not going to be able to see through it on this side, because it's going to be different,
36:04so, we want to work out, where I'm going to put the door, now, is it going to be a door, is it going to be an archway,
36:12or whatever you want to do, now of course, if you're down here, in probably most subways, it's usually quite wide,
36:20it's usually probably about, maybe about three of these, wide, it's used on big openings, so you can walk in and out,
36:28up and down the alleyway, the tunnel way, and I'm thinking, yeah, we could actually do that, if we wanted to,
36:47or we could have like little tiny rooms, that kind of go back on itself, so as I said, what we want to do anyway,
36:54just before we do anything else, we can go over here, objects, we go into objects, we've got no door here, look,
37:02now, to turn the door on, go here, preferences, inside the menu, type AR, and look down the menu, you see this one here,
37:12architry, turn this on, go down here, save, save the preferences, go into add, look in here, now you've got some new items,
37:22you've got rooms, doors, windows, columns, staircases, and cabinets, which is great, so, as I said, what we want is a door,
37:32it's going to be up there, look, so what we want to do, is click on the door, go here, set origin to geometry,
37:40and then we want to pull this over, click the door, drag it down to our level, and then of course,
37:50this is a standard blender door, because we're using standard blender cubes, the door almost sits inside the cube,
37:58almost, not quite, but almost, so, what I want to tell you to do, if you open the door first, this one here,
38:04says make a hole, I don't want that, the kickboard, I don't want that, I only want that, that's all I need, just a door,
38:12so I think, okay, look at it, I think, okay, now, because this is a blender cube, and I am using a blender cube,
38:18but I'm also converting it to an emma cube, and emma cube is two squares, I'll show you, just scaly,
38:30see here, like one square below the actual square, so, if you do, basically, the reason why I do one square below,
38:38because I allow you one square for the ceiling above your head, so, all my ceilings, nearly all of them in my level,
38:45the ceilings are almost touching the top of the door, even though in real life, they're probably about an extra two foot,
38:51about here, ideally, but, not an emma cube, emma cube is different, so, okay, now it's an emma cube door,
38:59I'm thinking, how great is that, okay, now, of course, we need to move the door, good to move, turn it around,
39:06turn it to the side, now, this is where the train, the water is, the train is, we don't want it there,
39:13we want this on the side of the brick, on the side of the building, so, we can go here, now, of course,
39:20we've got a door, in our tunnel wing, of course, you don't really get doors like that, down the subways,
39:28not really, unless, of course, there's a toilet behind it, or something like that, of course, we can leave it there,
39:34if you want to, and then we can delete the wall, and then we can connect the door frame to the actual wall,
39:39and then that way, we can just continue to copy and paste the door, and then we can always change the door to a different door,
39:46if you want to, so, I think, okay, go here, select that, go here, apply, transform, just so it stays where it is, for the moment,
39:55I said, I'm trying to give you an idea, how it's going to look, I said, that's the sort of the character,
40:02you bring the character down, put the character in here, we can have a look, so, then you'll be able,
40:08how big is the character, well, the character's a standard character, if I go to Sea Dwight, go to Emma's World, Emma at age 12,
40:17bring her in, she's going to start on top, up there, look, because that's the starting point of the level,
40:24so, we can kind of drag Emma down here somewhere, so, we don't want to household the door, because there's nothing out there yet,
40:33so, let's bring her into the hallway, so, Emma's standing by the door, so, now, imagine now, you're playing the game,
40:43and we'll turn on textures, because Emma's got a texture, this is the size of your 12 year old girl,
40:50who's on a mission, down inside the trains rack, and you can see, the hole is pretty deep, so, as I said,
40:57it don't look very deep, but if you compare it to the character herself, but, yeah, we're going to bring the character down,
41:06so, if the character fell down the hole, yeah, she's going to have a little bit of a problem jumping back out,
41:13so, I'm thinking, of course, if it's a train track, it wouldn't be that deep, it is deep a little bit, but it's not quite as deep as that,
41:23but, as I said, I'm going to show you the kind of scale to the character, so, we'll put her back on top of the platform,
41:32so, Emma's here thinking, oh, that's a nice looking door, I wonder what's behind there, so, yeah, anyway,
41:38you can get kind of, really kind of curious, and if you want to, we can go here, we can go to, add architry,
41:45we can add a cabinet, we can add some shelves, let's add some shelves, take the shelves, bring the shelving unit down,
41:52go back to the side view, as they will, we're going to need them for the level anyway, so, if it involves a user,
41:58go into the wireframe, just snap it off to the surface, snap it next to the door,
42:07well, I've never seen a train station with shelves in it, but, yeah, anyway,
42:13these might be in the hallway, they might be behind the door, well, really, they'd be in the room, behind the door,
42:19but, for now, we don't have a room, so, we're going to stick it in the hallway, and Emma's going to think,
42:25oh, that's an unusual subway, it's even got a book rack, in here, anyway, there are items for the level,
42:33so, anyway, what I'll do, when I've got to share the items, I'll share them, so, if you want them, you can have them,
42:38so, anyway, you've got a standard Emma sized door, with a Emma, with a standard bookshelf,
42:45which is a Emma, which is a blender cube, so, this is a blender cube bookshelf,
42:52it was a blender cube door frame, which is normally the same height as that,
42:58well, I've scaled it down, one square, so, it's an Emma, big cube,
43:03as you can see, the character will fit through the door, she's, yeah, as you can see, she does fit through the door,
43:08and, it's perfect, so, erm, as I said, it's detailed up to you, how you want to be doing it,
43:15and I hope to know what you want to do, because we're saving it, go here, edit,
43:21see where the door is, in the middle of the door frame,
43:24the idea of bringing the door frame in, is so, what we can do, is connect the door frame to the actual framework,
43:36and then we can continue building the rest of the room, if we want to do that, we can,
43:42now, I like to build my geometry into the geometry, that's what I like to do, like the door frame,
43:48even though it's there, I think, yeah, it looks kind of okay, but, obviously, we need to attach it to the door frame,
43:55because, I don't just stick something next to the wall, like that, and say, oh yeah, that's it, that's done,
44:00you can do that, nobody will know any difference, but, I don't do that, so, what I do, I go here,
44:06I put a brand new line in it, I turn it round, right to the side view, come back into my frame,
44:15I go move, look at the line, look at the door frame, move this up, to the door frame, and leave it,
44:27because that's where we're going to connect it, okay, just kind of half tilt it, go this side, half tilt it,
44:38move this line, put this line directly on top of that line, that way, if we put a door on either side,
44:50we can, we don't have to basically do anything, because now, all we have to do here, is delete the wall,
44:59and connect the door to the brickwork, if we want to do that, if this is where we want to put the door,
45:04then that's what I recommend, so, okay, can you put a door on here, oh, we can, we can have, we can turn it into toilets,
45:12if we want to, so, if we're going to do that, we need to, we need to pull this wall out, pull this wall out,
45:18and work out, how much room, as I said, every single thing in my level, it has to do something, as I said,
45:25I don't want to waste, any kind of space, at all, like here, it's quite deep, because I'm going to put fish down here,
45:32I'm going to have crocodiles in there, I'm also going to have a shark in there, just to kind of, yeah,
45:39just to kind of distract you from whatever, but, and the reason why it's quite deep, is because we don't want the alligator,
45:47jumping up on top of the platform, even though, further down, he actually can get on the platform,
45:54but, you have to watch the level, as you go through it, but of course, that'll only happens, depending on the age of the character,
46:04so, anyway, it's up to you, how you want to write doing it, anyway, I'm just kind of showing you how to modify, twist-bait,
46:10the kind of shape, the level, if you're interested, if more, come back and watch a bit more of it, and, you can see a bit more of it being made,
46:19when you come back, probably most likely, I'll be copying a piece in the door frame, I'll be putting maybe a couple of doors down here,
46:26maybe I'll have a door here, and maybe I might have one down there, at that end, so it's kind of the same,
46:34or the opposite way around, so it's kind of different, no, again, I might not, I might have one door over here,
46:41so, you're going to need to find a way to get over here, to this side, so I think, yeah, anyway, I'm going to give you a few ideas as I'm going through it,
