00:00So, what are the Oilers, 7-1 in that building in the playoffs?

00:04Is that about right?

00:06I think they're 9-1.

00:07Yeah, they've lost one game in the playoffs here.

00:10And that was with .4 seconds left in the game.

00:13Remember that miracle shot in the Dallas series, I think, or in the Vegas series?

00:17Yeah, they're just feeling right now.

00:19And here's the difference, Scotty.

00:20Last year, they were happy to – this year, they expect to win.

00:24That's the organization, the team, and the fans.

00:26The expectation is much higher, and they've been playing great.

00:31You can't really point and say, what's the weakness for this team right now?

00:34If they get behind in games, they'll put Conor and Leon on the same line.

00:37You have to defend two all-world guys.

00:39That's really difficult.

00:40This team is clicking on all cylinders right now as we get to game two.

00:44So, they're 4-0 in overtimes in the playoffs this year.

00:50It's just unbelievable.

00:52And I got to tell you, like, this guy, McDavid, is on another planet, right?

00:57I thought his pass to Dreisaitl over to Stikebarkov was brilliant.

01:02I thought his pass on the equalizer was brilliant.

01:07I just think he's just from another planet.

01:11He is.

01:11And if they win, he's going to win the consummate back-to-back seasons.

01:14Now, if they lose, somebody in Florida, either Bobrovsky or Sam Bennett,

01:18who's been 12 goals.

01:19I never expected 12 goals in a playoff from Sam Bennett, but Conor's on another level.

01:23Look, here's the thing.

01:24I voted for Leon Dreisaitl for the MVP this year.

01:27He's probably going to win it, maybe Kucherov.

01:29The best player in the game is Conor McDavid.

01:32And for what you just said, those two plays, you see why he is.

01:35Some nights, the vision, the speed, how he can execute.

01:38He executes stuff at high speed, a speed I've never seen before.

01:42So, this is a unique player.

01:43And if you're a casual fan and don't watch the NHL, watch tonight.

01:46This guy's incredible.

01:47So, Dreisaitl talks about how easy it is to do what he does because of Conor.

01:55He's like, this guy makes my life so easy.

01:57I thought his shots in the low slot, both of them between the circles,

02:01were relatively just normal.

02:04You know, bang, bang plays for him.

02:07He's a pro sniper.

02:10And you're going to give him tape jobs like that?

02:12I mean, this guy's lethal.

02:16Yeah.

02:17And they call him the burger flipper because if you look at his stick,

02:19he's got that really long bottom of his stick.

02:23Usually, it's a couple inches.

02:24This guy, when he gets the puck on his stick, Scotty,

02:27and it's usually a delivery from Conor McDavid on the power play, you're done.

02:30You know, they're already celebrating.

02:31You're going back to the center for a face-off.

02:33It's almost unstoppable.

02:36And you can't take a penalty in overtime.

02:38You know, Scotty, I was here, obviously, for game one.

02:41When that puck went over the glass, when those sticks shot it over the glass,

02:44I said to my guys from Sirius X, I'm going to go, the game's over.

02:48It's over.

02:48And it was.

02:49You can't take penalties in regulation.

02:51You certainly can't do it in overtime.

02:52And you mentioned Conor to Leon.

02:53It's almost unstoppable at this point.

02:55So, you know, you and I have been talking about hockey for a long time.

03:00I've been on this team since day one, the start of the season,

03:03that they would go back and win the Stanley Cup after they climbed back from 3-0

03:07and lost 2-1 in a game seven on a road.

03:10We're going to have easily been them 2-1.

03:12I've been on them nonstop.

03:14But tonight, I'm going to take the risk.

03:16I bet I'm at 1-10, the Panthers, to answer and make this thing

03:20an incredible seven-game series.

03:23Like, again, an incredible series.

03:26I don't want to see 3-0 leads.

03:28I don't want to see 3-3.

03:30And then I want to see ping pong, like Carver High said, back and forth,

03:34a series that goes, all right, you beat us, we beat you.

03:37We'll see you for game three in Sunrise.

03:41I actually, I'm on the Oilers to win the Cup.

03:44Always have been.

03:45But I think tonight the Panthers respond because they had a 3-1 lead.

03:49I never see them blow leads like that.

03:51And I think if they play like they did the other night, they win.

03:55You can't get comfortable against the Oilers.

03:57You've got to keep pressing the issue.

03:59You can't hang back, Scotty.

04:00I agree with you.

04:01And people, when you look at last year, you say, okay, seven-game series,

04:04a lot of drama.

04:05There wasn't a lot of drama.

04:06We didn't get drama until game six.

04:07When Oilers did win game six and went back to Florida for game seven,

04:10we got drama.

04:10And you're right.

04:11I want back and forth, too.

04:13And there's not much that separates these teams.

04:15So much as I want to compliment the Oilers and criticize the Panthers for game one,

04:18it was a 4-3 overtime game.

04:20There isn't much separating.

04:21Marshawn had a great game.

04:23He got a power play goal.

04:25Can they win here?

04:26Yeah.

04:26They won last year here.

04:27They won a game here.

04:28So, yeah, I want it.

04:29I think everybody wants it.

04:31And, again, there's not much separating these teams.

04:33So could we see seven drama-filled games?

04:35I think we still can.
