00:00Mr. Speaker, I rise today because we are witnessing a tragic breakup between a Nazi

00:11saluting billionaire and the President of the United States. Elon Musk has decided to

00:17call it quits after President Trump and Congressional Republicans moved to eliminate a tax credit

00:23that would have benefited Musk under the so-called Big Beautiful Bill. To be completely

00:29honest, I agree with both sides on this. I agree that Trump should start to question Elon's

00:35federal contracts, and I agree with Musk that the Big Beautiful Bill is an abomination. I'm

00:41curious to see who my Republican colleagues will choose in this breakup, because unfortunately

00:46for them, they have pledged undying allegiance to either indirectly or indirectly to both

00:52of these men. They turned a blind eye as Musk was handed the keys to the government and

00:58enabling him to disable, or rather dismantle, probably both, programs everyday Americans

01:04depend on. They stood by Trump through everything he's done, and now we'll see if that support

01:09falters. The American people deserve much better than the drama playing out between these two

01:15men, and it's time my Republican colleagues recognize this. And at long last, let's work

01:19together to focus on the real issues facing our beloved nation.
