Moscow (Russia), June 06 (ANI/ TV BRICS): A record-breaking event in terms of the number of participants, spectators, and speed in completing the course. Around 70 per cent of those who decided to test themselves were visitors to Kazan. More than 34,000 people lined up at the start of the Kazan Marathon, an all-time record in the event’s history. The whole city turned out as spectators. The distances include 3 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km. This year, twice as many people as last year chose to run the longest one—the marathon—with a total of 7,000 participants. The course is challenging, featuring bridges and sharp turns, but the runners maintain their pace, supported by cooling showers and the cheering crowd.
