The World Marathon Challenge 2025 is underway. This year a total of 62 runners have signed up to run seven marathons in seven continents over seven days.

00:10This year, 62 athletes are challenging themselves
00:13to complete 7 full marathons across 7 continents in a week.
00:17Alan Nowaj, a tech entrepreneur from California,
00:20was the first to cross the finish line at the first marathon in Antarctica.
00:24He completed it in 3 hours, 21 minutes and 7 seconds.
00:29It feels amazing.
00:31I just tried to settle into a comfortable pace
00:34and kept it like mid-730s the whole time.
00:37I spent most of my time just trying to find a good route out there.
00:40There's some soft snow and some ice,
00:43but we're just towing the line between that
00:46and trying to put it in cruise control and bring it home.
00:48It was awesome. It was amazing.
00:51The runners will continue on to races in Perth, Dubai, Madrid,
00:55Brazil's Fortaleza, and finish off in Miami on February 6.
