00:09In a statement, the AU Commission called on Washington to adopt a more consultative approach

00:19U.S. President Donald Trump has justified the ban as a national security issue after

00:25calling Somalia a terrorist safe haven.

00:28Citizens have expressed their outrage.

00:31The problems that drove migrants to leave Somalia persist.

00:37It's a major issue.

00:39And this decision is a humiliation for U.S. Somalis.

00:44Many Somalis live in the United States, including members of our family.

00:48I call on the U.S. President to end the travel ban and allow Somalis to live there proudly.

00:54The decision to include the Republic of Congo has left officials puzzled.

00:59The Congo is neither a terrorist country, nor does it harbor any terrorists, nor is it

01:04known for its terrorist activities.

01:06We believe that this is a misunderstanding.

01:08Washington claims the visa overstay rates for Congolese nationals as well as citizens from Chad are

01:15unacceptable.

01:16In the U.S., some Americans say they're not surprised the ban is back.

01:21It's Trump.

01:23He's a renowned racist.

01:25And he's trying to make America white again, not make America great again, which is very sad

01:33and scary considering that this nation was built on different nationalities and immigrants.

01:42The only exception, athletes who've qualified for the upcoming FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games,

01:48which will be held in the United States.
