Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) says he can't understand President Trump's new travel ban as the Boulder attack suspect was from Egypt.

00:00I don't understand it. The President said the situation of terrible crime in Boulder was the reason for this.

00:08The individual in Boulder was from Egypt.

00:12The President did not include Egypt on his list of nations and people we don't want in the United States.

00:18I can't follow his thinking on this at all.

00:21And what about him ordering the Justice Department to investigate Biden?

00:25You know, this is a relentless effort to discredit the previous President, former President,

00:33and I think it's beneath the dignity of the Office of President to do that.

00:38As far as I'm concerned, we should move on with the issues. There are two challenges in the months ahead.

00:44Do you think it'll show anything nefarious, or are you concerned that it could blow back on Democrats

00:49by turning up things about – unflattering things about Biden? Are you concerned about that?

00:53I can just tell you I'm not going to speculate on what might be the result of this witch hunt,

00:58which it is, by the Trump administration.
