00:10I think it's a different story if the Tatum injury was a career ender

00:16or if Tatum was a free agent in a year or something like that

00:19and there's uncertainty on if Tatum was ever even going to return.

00:22But in my head, Tatum's out for a year, then he comes back

00:25and he's going to be whatever he is, 27, 28 years old,

00:27and he'll be back.

00:28Fingers crossed that he's close to what he was.

00:31I don't want Tatum returning to a team without Jalen Brown,

00:37without Porzingis, without Holiday,

00:39probably without...

00:41I mean, definitely not Horford.

00:42And then you're like, hey, but we got you Dylan Harper,

00:45who's going to be like 19.

00:47That sounds terrible.

00:48And he might be good.

00:49I do think it's a red flag that he and Bailey couldn't make the tournament.

00:53Two of them, especially.

00:53Mark Al Foltz couldn't make the tournament.

00:55Ben Simmons couldn't make the tournament.

00:56It's bad that one guy couldn't do it.

00:59Two McDonald's All-Americans go to a place like Rutgers.

01:02Not exactly a basketball powerhouse.

01:04Although, Quincy Duby may have something to say about that.

01:08But two guys should be able to go to Northeastern

01:11or go to anywhere and make the tournament.

01:15Every college just about makes the tournament these days.

01:18So how did they not get in?

01:19It's embarrassing.

01:20So I don't love that.

01:21But let's just say even they end up being really good players.

01:24I want Tatum and Brown back together in another year.

01:28So I'm not slamming the door on every Jalen Brown trade.

01:32We had the other, like last week, we were talking about Cooper Flagg for Jalen Brown.

01:35I'm doing that.

01:35I like Flagg a lot more than I like the Rutgers guys.

01:38So I would do that.

01:38I also think he's going to be, you know, like an all-star quicker than those two guys.

01:42Meaning, like Tatum could return to a guy who's already, like, had a full season

01:46kind of playing, you know, Derek White and a couple other guys.

01:49And by year two, maybe you have a real, like, budding all-star at that point.

01:53That's way more appetizing than this deal.

01:56I feel like you're really, really punting on next season.

02:00And then it's like a big question mark for the following season.

02:03So I'm going to know on that.

02:04So, hang on, real quick.

02:05I get why the Spurs would do it.

02:07I think for the Spurs, that would make a ton of sense.
