00:00It is kind of shaped as a capsule so you see there are two half domes and then we
00:27have these two vaulted spaces so four segments and in the center we have this beautiful ginkgo
00:33tree which is actually aligned with the bell tower of the Serpentine Gallery.
00:43The tree is a sort of a representation of park and nature and in a way brings a scale
00:49to that space.
00:51At the same time it's also quite nice that it's a ginkgo tree which we selected.
00:56It's one of the oldest trees and a very resilient tree and beautiful sculptural form and I love
01:02the fan shaped leaf that you can see there.
01:07For me architecture is not always about staticness but it's also about this temporality and the
01:21pavilion itself is a kind of a temporal structure which is here for five months and then it
01:27will move on towards second life or an afterlife.
