00:01Muslims from around the world are gathering in the Saudi city of Mecca for
00:05the annual Hajj pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam. Over the coming
00:09days they'll immerse themselves in rituals and acts of worship that
00:12originated more than 1,400 years ago and like last year pilgrims will also have
00:18to contend with excessive heat. Honestly it's an indescribable feeling, thank
00:24God who granted us this feeling and I wish this for every believing Muslim.
00:28The pilgrimage is a once-in-a-lifetime obligation for every Muslim who can
00:32afford it and is physically able to make it to Islam's holiest city, birthplace of
00:37the Prophet Muhammad. This is an irreplaceable opportunity I've been
00:43waiting for it for a long time. Thank God who made it easy for us to visit this
00:47place and pray for our country and our loved ones. We also pray for those who
00:51worked on this mosque's expansion. We thank them and we thank God Almighty.
00:58But the Hajj has limited capacity with set quotas for countries. Muslim
01:04majority nations like Indonesia and Malaysia have decades-long waiting lists
01:08while India has a ban on repeaters.
01:12come to you, that letting us know what we do.
