00:00No, it's not enough. And the two reasons for that is, first of all, tariffs are up compared to this time last year.
00:05There's no certainty, no actual things have been finally put down on ink and signed off.
00:10And in America, what that means is that a lot of American purchasers of British products are saying we just don't know.
00:16So I don't think this is very good news at all, actually.
00:19Well, the best thing they could do, the British government could do, is to stop taxing British businesses themselves.
00:23I mean, tariffs are one thing on exports, but this government has levied massive taxes on British enterprise, British businesses.
00:29That's what's killing expectations of growth by businesses in this country and really harming employment prospects.
00:37So that's the best thing the government could do.
00:39On tariffs, they have to try and continue their efforts to get a better deal for the UK, not just in the US, but in other markets as well.
