00:10Yeah, I mean, my very old brain is remembering, I remember when Tommy Burns was at Celtic, the late great Tommy Burns, and it was the first season and the fans had bought in and bought the season ticket and turned up and he went on the pitch with a microphone and said to the fans,
00:28thank you for giving us our club back. And I get the feeling if you handed Hibs fans microphones, they would say that's David Ray this year.
00:36Thank you for giving us our club back. Because there was a disconnect, there was a disgruntlement, there was a general, nobody knows what they're doing.
00:45They're just chopping and changing managers. And that's changed because of what Ray and his team have done.
00:52There are tie-ins with the Black Knight group. That should mean movement.
00:59And, you know, Tim Benspechenko was interesting. We spoke to him kind of back in February it was, and he was trying to explain how it would work.
01:07It could be loan moves, it could be just signings that are brought in.
01:10Had they been guaranteed league stage football in the Conference League, that would have made things a lot easier.
01:16That would have kick-started everything because then you're bringing a player here and you know exactly what they're getting.
01:24And you're guaranteed that European tag, that European experience, which boosts their profile, helps with work permits, helps with everything, and helps attract players.
01:36But I still think it will be looked back on a season that's just an utterly remarkable season and a successful season.
01:44And when you consider how it started, that's what makes it all the more remarkable.
01:49And it feels like, like I say, it feels like a season when Hibs fans got their team back.
01:55They always, you know, fans love their team, and that's just the way it is.
01:59You don't choose, it's chosen for you, you love your team, for good or bad, but sometimes you hate them as well.
02:07But this year, it just feels like there's this appreciation, and Hibs fans are like, it's not often you get that, but Hibs fans are like, aren't we lucky?
02:18Aren't we lucky we support Hibs?
02:20And that's not something that's been said every year over the last decade or so.
