Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla took questions from India Today Science in a briefing to reveal what he is most excited about when he reaches the Space Station.

00:15What are some of the most exciting things that you are looking forward to when you reach the space station?

00:49I think I am excited about all the aspects of this mission.
00:52Starting with the first time that we will be in a position to observe the Earth.
00:56From a vantage point that only a handful of people on this planet have ever experienced.
01:02And after that, the experience of floating in microgravity.
01:07And you know, everyday activities that seem so simple for us like walking, sleeping, eating, or you know, drinking water.
01:15They all become very different once you are up in space.
01:18So I am really looking forward to having that experience in space.
01:22To the second part of your question.
01:25We have certain live events from on orbit and we will be doing live interactions.
01:30Several, we will have one with the Indian VIP and we will have with the students, with the academia and also with the space industry.
01:39So that I can share not just my, you know, story, but whatever is the experience that I am getting on orbit back with people, you know, in our country.
