00:12Today I've got some awesome new products to go ahead and test this out.

00:15The Nintendo Switch, NES Classic, even the PS4 Slim, which I didn't test in my last video.

00:20And one more, one really, really crazy one, because I have someone that doesn't want this car anymore

00:25and he's like, hey, you can have it.

00:26Go ahead and plug this thing into it.

00:28Not really.

00:28I have to pay for it.

00:29But anyways, this guy has claimed so many lives on my channel.

00:33The PS4, the Xbox, and a lot more.

00:36Let's see if any of these new products are resistant to it.

00:39So over here I've got a 2016 Nissan GT-R.

00:56And this is the David V TV.

00:58I actually knew this guy since I was little.

01:01He actually turned out to be a YouTuber.

01:02I found him in the same city.

01:08Fortunately, today just has to go.

01:10We're going to see what the USB Killer does to it.

01:12Literally one of my biggest requests to test this on a car.

01:15And that's what we're going to do today.

01:16By the way, if I break it, I do owe him the money.

01:22We kind of mutually agreed on that.

01:26And then test out some Nintendo products.

01:28My personal prediction is nothing too bad.

01:30So I think that it'll just burn the infotainment.

01:33Maybe the sound.

01:34Maybe the units.

01:35A navigation unit.

01:36I don't think it'll really go past that.

01:38And if we're lucky, it might just be a fuse.

01:40Not actually burn anything inside of the electronics.

01:44But I've always been curious.

01:45This is a very expensive experiment.

01:47Where's your USB port, man?

01:49Well, it's actually right here.

01:52It's a nice interior, man.

01:53Good color choice.

01:54No, I honestly don't think anything too bad will happen.

01:56But it's my ass that's on the line if it does.

01:59First thing I just wanted to show is that if we plug it in, that it connects, starts charging, and audio should be working here.

02:13So stage two is to test with the tester unit.

02:16This is basically a little tester.

02:19So before the shock enters the system, it kind of allows you to discharge it here and you see some sparks, which is kind of cool.

02:25By the way, what happens if you stick a normal USB in there?

02:28Is it going to read the songs?

02:29Yeah.

02:29Well, when you put it in your phone, it just plays a regular song, whatever you're trying to play.

02:34Or I think it's all audio through the phone.

04:40And again, it does start clicking, but nothing's going on this time.

04:46So we're going to check the fuse box, but the consensus seems to be that we just fried

04:50this port alone.

04:51So these guys actually thought of this kind of thing.

04:54Most electronics don't have a defense against it.

04:57So that's kind of cool.

04:58The more you know, you're a Nissan GT-R safe against these things.

05:02Let's go check the box.

05:04That's a relief.

05:05So it turns out there's a maze just to reach the fuse box in here.

05:10I make it so complicated.

05:11On my Audi, you just pop the panel off and they're all there.

05:14But it turns out the USB killer does affect the Nissan GT-R, but nowhere near as bad as

05:19any of the other electronics I've tested.

05:21So let's move on to the Nintendos and other things.

05:24That's NES Classic.

05:25I've got the PS4 Slim over here.

05:28Maybe it's more resistant versus the PS4 Pro.

05:31PS4 Pro didn't do too well, actually, but it did better than the Xbox One.

05:35And here it is.

05:38So I couldn't even get one on the date when they were up for pre-order.

05:43I had to pay $450 for this, which sucks, but here it is.

05:49The Nintendo Switch, the coveted Nintendo Switch.

05:52Let's go ahead and unbox this guy.

05:53Anyway, that's a lot smaller than I thought.

06:01Does this thing even have a USB port?

06:07And it does have USB-C.

06:11Perfect.

06:13This is going to be nice.

06:16A lot more bezel than I'd like.

06:58So this is a power meter for USB-C.

07:00First thing I wanted to do is see what kind of a current this thing is taking in.

07:07About 1 amp there.

07:14But it does give a very strong spark.

08:30So there's really no nostalgia factor for me.

08:40There's literally no way to plug this in.

08:42This kind of goes in there, but I don't think it'll do anything.

08:56The Pro didn't do well.

09:08So the PS4 Pro had a USB in the back.

09:10This just has two in the front.

09:15So as usual, test what kind of power output we can get here.

09:20But as you can see, it is working.

10:29Unfortunately, Nissan GTR survived and the NES Classic survived due to not even being compatible
