00:00When you look a little bit closer, while you do see that there is this very large creature
00:07on two legs, which gets very exciting, you can also see that it starts to look more costumey
00:14and the way that it moves is too human-like. You know, it's definitely not a bear. It doesn't look
00:21like anything that should be out there. But unfortunately, with Bigfoot, you get a lot of
00:26pranksters, you know, which makes it really hard for us scientists looking out for that irrefutable
00:31proof. But there's just something about it that is too, too human-like. At one point, it looked
00:38almost as if it was going to wave hello, you know, just its mannerisms, the way it crouched,
00:42the way it placed its hand. I suddenly felt like it was just going to start waving at us,
00:46and then it turns around. But the other part to that video that made me question it was the terrain
00:55that it was in. You know, you expect something like the world's greatest hide-and-seek player,
01:02right, to be in this very dense vegetation, staying very hidden. This was in some pretty open brush
01:09area. And the fact that it hung around for as long as it did, I mean, I've spent years and years working
01:17with gorillas out in the Congo. And yes, they are very curious animals, and very times they'll stop to
01:24observe you because they're curious, they're smart, they're so intelligent, like we are.
01:27And so you think, okay, is the animal like just being curious? But there was almost something too
01:33relaxed about the way that this creature just hung around before it decided to take off.
01:40I'm a National Geographic explorer, and I've spent my entire life looking for creatures that
01:45are either said to be extinct, have never been photographed or studied, and we're making new
01:51scientific discoveries all of the time. So will we ever see a Bigfoot in our lifetime? I think it
01:57is certainly possible. Did we just see one? I don't think so.
