Indeed CEO says AI is maker it both harder and easier for people to find jobs

Indeed's CEO spoke to Fortune at the Workplace Innovation Summit about AI's impact on the jobs.

00:00So the question is, is AI making it harder or easier for job seekers to find a new position?

00:04The answer is yes. It is doing both right now, and we're working really hard to make sure that

00:08we're on the side of making it easier. But we know that AI, first of all, is overwhelming and

00:14confusing and is causing anxiety in a number of people. And there's a number of ways any tool

00:18that has power can be used for good and also can be used to create problems. And so there's a lot

00:23of problems in online job forums where they're getting flooded with AI-produced content, where

00:32people are using AI to screen resumes and no one is ever getting seen. So there are challenges,

00:38and I want to make sure to acknowledge that. But I also think that the opportunity is extraordinary.
