Honeywell's CEO predicts "doomsday" for companies that don't embrace AI

At the Fortune Global Forum, Honeywell CEO Vimal Kapur says employers should be adopting artificial intelligence.

00:00Adoption of the new technology is a new normal.

00:05If you resist it, I'm sure it's going to come and get you sooner or later.

00:09And AI is just one of it.

00:10I mean, I'll remind people there was a robotic process automation five years

00:14back, and you go five years back, there was virtualization.

00:16So this is going to keep coming.

00:19And the trick is companies have to grow so that we need more resources.

00:24But that get offset by productivity, which is going to create.

00:27So I think that's a virtuous cycle one has to think about it.

00:29If you are scared, it's a doomsday for everybody.
