00:00We need to get to 3% by the end of this Parliament. The world is getting more and more dangerous
00:05and a lot of the things which they have announced in this strategic defence review require money.
00:10And I have always said that we need plans, not just announcements. Until we can see how
00:15it will be funded, it's just an announcement. We need to see it by the end of this Parliament.
00:19Otherwise many of the plans which they have put even in this strategic defence review
00:23just will not happen. We need to give certainty to the defence industry as well. We can see
00:29threats emerging globally all over the place, whether it's Russia or Iran. You know, a terrorist
00:35plot foiled just a few weeks ago. A lot needs to be done to ensure that we can fund our defence.
