The family of a British soldier found dead in his barracks bedroom three weeks after he was last seen have told an inquest they have been left with “so many questions” about his death.

00:06into the death of Lance Corporal Bernard Mongan. The 33-year-old father of three was found dead
00:12in his barracks at Catrick Garrison three weeks after he was last seen around December 27th,
00:172019. His body was discovered face down on his bed on January 23rd, 2020. A post-mortem could
00:25not confirm how he died, however there were no signs of injury or overdose the inquest heard.
