In an exclusive interview with India Today, Errol Musk, father of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, expressed pride in his son's work with DOGE and thanked Donald Trump.
00:01Now days after Elon Musk's exit from Doge, his father Errol Musk has told India today in an exclusive interview that the Tesla CEO has made him proud and he has thanked US President Donald Trump for that.

00:20We are talking to Mr. Errol Musk who is in India for a special motive. Sir, we would like to know what's the purpose of your visit right now in India?
00:28Well, the main purpose for me is to see India. So that's my personal purpose, you see.
00:36Sir, as we see a lot of geopolitical changes happening, a lot of changes in the geopolitics and Mr. Elon Musk who has also contributed as the head of the DOGE, how do you see his contribution?
00:48Oh, Elon's contribution is fantastic. You know, I've always avoided saying I'm proud of, because a parent doesn't talk about being proud of one's child.
01:00But in his work in DOGE, I am very proud of him for what he's done.
01:07And he's shown the way for all the world how to get rid of the things that have grown like scabs on our back.
01:16And, you know, what can I say except thank you. Thank you to Donald Trump for letting him do it.
01:22Sir, you said that you have come to visit and see India. You are going to the Ram Temple also.
01:27Yes, that's one of the things I'm very interested in. The history of India is something that certainly fascinates everybody,
01:36but it's more than most people it fascinates me. The history of India goes back further than any other nation.
01:44And it's the only nation that we have records that go back 14,000 years.
01:50So I've read a lot of the Vedas, not as many as I've got.
01:55I have Vedas that talk about flying machines, you know, that were in India 14,000 years ago.
02:00So something happened that we don't know about. It's lost fabulous history that somehow, I wouldn't say it's lost,
02:09but we should try and find out more about it.
02:11So I've written a book that includes a lot of information about India, Delhi and Kashmir in this regard, you know,
02:20in regard of flying vehicles.
02:21So, yeah, I am absolutely glad to be here and I can't understand why I haven't been here before.
