00:00The entire thing about reproduction is the furtherance of your own DNA.

00:04That's what the animal inside us wants.

00:07My DNA should continue, my DNA should continue.

00:09So now you know why when you propose adoption as a substitute to reproduction,

00:16people don't find that very appealing.

00:18And they'll not know.

00:19You'll ask them for some logic, some argument, they'll not know.

00:22You say you adopt a little baby.

00:24Is it not the same as having your own?

00:26They'll not know.

00:26They'll not know because the animal inside lives in darkness about itself.

00:33It lives in a very dark cave within where it cannot see even its own face.

00:38So it does not know itself.

00:40That's the reason we have feelings.

00:42But we do not know where those feelings come from.

00:45You want to have a baby.

00:46Somebody asks you, why do you want to have a baby?

00:47You'll not know because the animal has no self-knowledge.

00:52The animal is not designed to know itself.

00:54The animal can act, but never know why it is acting.
