00:15I wanted to find out why this place is the best in Yorkshire and why people choose to park here for a day out.
00:24First and foremost it's now dog friendly so you can walk through the forecourt which is also a food court.
00:32There are a couple of places closed like many places who are struggling in the current times but there are an array of foodie options and of course all your usual fast food chains.
00:45But what you're not noticing right now is the huge windows.
00:50You have a pretty much 360 degree view of wildlife because Leeds Skelton Lake is based in Skelton Lake Country Park.
01:01So even if you wanted to go on a day out for a walk, park for free for three hours, you can pop round the back and get straight onto the access footpaths.
01:11I'm inside Yorkshire's best services according to Which, so when you're on a half turn break or road trip or you're commuting you may need a pit stop at one of the many service stations.

01:33Here at the top is an RSPB viewing platform as well as places to dine and overlook the rest of the services.
01:45Now as it was busy and half term I didn't find the toilets that great but everything else was spot on.
01:53There's also nice picnic areas and even a play area for the kids.
