00:05filter emails via color category on the desktop application Microsoft Outlook

00:11using a Mac computer without further ado let us start the video so in the

00:15tutorial you need to have access to a Mac computer of access to the desktop

00:20application Microsoft Outlook we can now start the tutorial before I start this

00:26tutorial I would like to say that you are more than welcome to subscribe to my

00:56focus on the video so now let's go down to the dock go to launchpad go to the

01:01application Microsoft Outlook search for this enter to open up the application

01:05wait for that to load once that is loaded the purpose of this tutorial is to

01:10filter via color categories what we will do is go to home within home we have a

01:16couple of options let's now go to filter emails and then click on category and

01:22let's click on the first category which is blue as you can see on screen we don't

01:28have any emails in that category that's fine we will assign a few to that

01:32category and then once we refilter again let's now filter by green category we do

01:39not have any emails within the green category that's fine let's now go back to

01:46decategorizing so what we will do is click on an email categorize with the blue

01:54color go to another email categorized by green now let's go to another email

01:59categorized by orange go to another blue another email green so now what we will do

02:10is go to home go to filter emails and now change the category to green and there we

02:17go let's now go back again clear all the filters category blue and all the emails

02:25that have been assigned the color category in blue are on screen now let's go back to

02:32filters clear all filters go back again category let's go to none to clear that

02:40filter now orange and there we go so clear all the filters let's now quit outlook
