00:0032-year-old Lauren Ingrid Flanagan was being held at the Brisbane Women's Correctional
00:07Centre after allegedly stabbing her three-year-old daughter Sophia to death outside their Moorpark
00:13Beach home north of Bundaberg on Monday. Staff at the prison found Ms Flanagan unresponsive
00:18in her cell yesterday evening. Queensland Police say corrections staff provided immediate
00:24assistance until an ambulance arrived and she was taken to hospital. Queensland Police
00:28Minister Dan Purdy was unable to provide an update on her condition this morning and was
00:33asked by reporters whether Ms Flanagan was being closely monitored by prison staff prior to the
00:39incident. Here's what he had to say. It's unfolding, it's awfully sad, the whole circumstance of the
00:45situation and that matters under investigation and it's an operational issue. I honestly don't
00:51have any more information I can provide to you at this time. Ms Flanagan is next due to appear in
00:56court on the charge of murder in July. The Queensland Police Service says it's providing support to
