00:09It's a genuine thrill to be part of such an exclusive club.

00:12And just looking around earlier at all the other stars,

00:15absolute icons, you know,

00:18Michael Jackson,

00:20Bill Cosby,

00:24Fatty Arbuckle.

00:26And we've had a few weird years of cancel culture,

00:30people telling you what you can and can't laugh at or talk about,

00:34but we pushed back and we won until the next time.

00:38Apparently I'm receiving this honour

00:42for my extending, ground-breaking contribution to comedy

00:46in the televisual arts.

00:48I think that's what they said. I wasn't concentrating.

00:50I was nervous, because when they first told me I got this,

00:54the first thing I thought about was,

00:56do I have to get down on all fours

00:58and put my hands in concrete?

01:02And I just thought, I won't get back up,

01:04and that will be embarrassing.

01:06But I don't have to do that.

01:08Me standing here now is as embarrassing and awkward as it gets.

01:12Thank you to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for this,

01:16genuinely, it's an extraordinary honour.

01:18I am humbled to have my name etched on this legendary walk of fame,

01:25a place that celebrates the dreamers and doers of the industry.

01:29I'd love to claim that it was due to my unrivaled genius,

01:32but truth be told, it's a cocktail of luck, persistence,

01:38and a little bit of pushing against the tide.
