Redan netball coach Ashlee Smith after win over Ballarat
Transcript
00:00Let's talk about the day first of all though. Six from six in such a special day for the club, you must be thrilled.
00:05Yeah, we're going really, really well. We've been playing together for a few years now and I feel like the chemistry is slowly, slowly coming along.
00:14Yeah, exactly. Tell me a little bit about the whole day for the Redan Club and for the netball program about everyone that's come involved.
00:20Yeah, it's going to be a massive day. It's like for the last two decades, every netballer mostly that's been around for all these years.
00:27They've never been recognised for their milestones or contributions to the club.
00:32A lot of people that are still playing have been here for more than 10 years.
00:35So it's a huge testament of the culture.
00:37Fantastic. And today's result in the A grade, you got the job done. Were you happy with the way you played today?
00:43Yeah, happy with the way we played. We tried a few new things, so it did work out.
00:48Still were able to maintain some rhythm throughout the game.
00:51You didn't seem to have much bench though. Have you got a few injuries at the moment?
00:53We have one out with a concussion.
00:55Okay, so that's a 21-day.
00:5621 days, yeah.
00:58Okay. The overall season to date so far, I mean, you're really building. I mean, I guess that win over against North Ballarat was probably the one that really would have given you confidence.
01:07Yeah, yeah, definitely did. It meant we were capable and we needed that reassurance heading into the game against Dali last week as well.
01:15We didn't get the win, but we know what the battle is next time as well.
01:21Yeah, fantastic. Well, congratulations.
