00:00First and foremost, four or five premierships, I mean, what's this club meant to you over all these years?
00:05Thank you so much. It means so much. I've been at North since 2012, which is such a long time,
00:12and I've played with so many of these girls throughout the years, and it just means so much
00:16to be able to stick with one club for so long, and then be able to win premierships and do that through it all.
00:22I heard some talk then about, you know, potentially needing to change things up a little bit,
00:26but it's not a personal thing, isn't it? It's something you've just got to, yeah, as you say,
00:29have in the back pocket for later in the season in case you need it against the side of Sunbury.
00:33I think just as a team, we've got new people in this year, and I think we're just learning how to use that
00:40in our positions and just gelling together, and I think it's slowly coming together,
00:44and we're just like working on that, trying new things, so when we do come up against harder teams
00:49like Sunbury, we can use that and use what we've learnt throughout the year.
00:53So how many premierships is it, all the way from 2012 to now?
00:57I mean, obviously you would have played in other grades.
00:59So I won every junior premiership, so I think that was eight, and then four A-grade premierships.
01:06That's pretty spectacular, 12 premierships with a club, I mean, that's lifelong memories that you're never going to lose.
01:13Yeah, it's pretty, I've been pretty lucky, I've had amazing girls through my juniors and seniors,
01:17so I feel so lucky to work with these girls every week, and yeah, it's so amazing.
01:22And tell me about the relationship between you and Poppy, I mean, she's over 200 games herself,
01:27I mean, that connection has always been there, hasn't it?
01:30Yeah, so Poppy started with me in 2012 as well, which is crazy, because she's obviously a bit younger than me,
01:36but just working with each other for so many years, I think I just know her like the back of my hand,
01:41like she gives me passes that no one else would be able to get, just because we've worked together for so long,
01:46and I just love that, and I love her, and she's just so amazing to play with.
01:50What does this side need to do, do you think, to reach those absolute highs again?
01:54Where do you need to pick up your game?
01:56Is it just a matter of playing together more?
01:58Yeah, I think it's just like uniting as a team and working with our new players.
02:02Obviously, we've had a few, like Stacey and Gina have been out, and then Alana and Georgia have come up from B grade.
02:08And Bridie was injured last year as well for so much of that.
02:10She had her ankle, so I think it's just learning to work with our new team and these new changes,
02:16but I think we're getting there, and like trainings are really helping,
02:19and then we're just like talking about what we have to do and how we can develop as a team together.
02:24And what number was it for Millie today as well?
02:26It was 200 games for her, which is so amazing.
02:30There you go, there's another one that you've been along with the whole way.
02:32Yeah, so good.
02:33Fantastic.
02:34Well, you've got the win.
02:35That's the main thing.
02:36You can celebrate it.
02:37Yeah, thank you.
