00:00Welcome back to TMZ Live. Todd Chrisley, never one to shy away from cameras, and as expected, he held a news conference today with Savannah by his side.
00:10Well, I take issue with that. By the way, he did kind of shy away from cameras, but put a bag over his face.
00:16Well, while he was, I was going to say, do you see that shirt he's wearing at the news conference?
00:20No. Let me look.
00:22See, maybe you like it. You know, a sporty little number.
00:26Um, he went out, turns out he went shopping last night before the news conference, and during their shopping spree, he had some words for the feds.
00:38I have been out for 12 hours and I'm shopping.
00:42Shop.
00:43He said he's been out for 12 hours and he's shopping. We had to get up somewhere for this press conference tomorrow, y'all.
00:49This is absolutely hilarious.
00:52Um, he looks like he hasn't aged a day.
00:56That's hilarious.
00:58Um.
00:59It's, it's called the B.O.P. glow.
01:02Am I still on?
01:03Yeah, you're still on.
01:04Can y'all believe the audacity?
01:07Treat me like a common criminal.
01:11Shut up.
01:12Y'all, it's been a hell of a day, but I'm back.
01:16The feds got.
01:18I'm dead, yeah.
01:20Wow.
01:21That is right out of the Trump playbook.
01:23Woo, well, guess what, he, you know what, I'm glad you said that, the Trump playbook, because during the news conference, um, where, uh, he showed off his new shirt, um, a reporter asked him about the actual case that landed him in prison, and, uh, check out his response.
01:41Do you have any remorse for the actions that led to you to be victims?
01:45Oh, you must be CNN.
01:47Um, do I have any remorse?
01:49I would have remorse if it was something that I did.
01:52Well, you'd like me to apologize last year.
01:54Well, let me, let me explain to you how that works, if you don't mind.
01:57Yeah.
01:57You're placed in a position, as a defendant, to either bow down and kiss the ass of the Department of Justice, and accept responsibility for things that you did not do in order to avoid a stronger sentence.
02:11And the corruption that went on in our case is going to continue to unfold, and Alex is going to continue to give each and every one of you the evidence that, as it comes in.
02:19Ooh, wow.
02:19Ooh, corruption.
02:20And he, he, he called out the reporter, too, he said, because they've had another follow-up question, he's like, hmm, you must be, I won't say the network, but he did it just the way, it's one of Trump's, his favorites.
02:34Very, very Trumpy.
02:35Yeah.
02:35I'll tell you guys one thing, uh, Todd going to jail did not take any of his sassiness away, because he was super sassy, not only at the press conference, but even in his videos with Savannah, the things that he was saying being fresh out, you know, a lot of people do love Todd and Julie.
02:49They love their show, but a lot of comments that I saw in the videos of Todd, you know, kind of making light of the situation and getting the pardon, kind of rubbed people the wrong way.
02:59Well, here's the thing about it.
03:01Um, it's the Trump world right now, and that is so predictable that he would do something like that, because we've heard that from a lot of people who have been pardoned.
03:11So, A, it's predictable, and B, he's also, this is an advertisement for his new show.
03:18For his new show, right.
03:19That's absolutely an advertisement for your show.
03:20He owes right off the bat.
03:21He's got to be entertaining.
03:22He's got to show everybody I still got it, and I think for what his purpose was, it worked.
03:28He brought the heat.
03:29Yep.
03:30Hey, guys.
03:30I know I'm one of the many Americans that is absolutely ecstatic that Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are out of prison.
03:39Their pardon was much deserved and completely justified.
03:43There was immense Fourth Amendment violations.
03:47I'm sure Harvey can explain that to you guys later, but if you guys actually look at the facts of the case, these guys were definitely put up against something very unjust.
03:59Their partner only received a year and a half.
04:02They received seven- and 12-year sentences, and it was their partner that stole the money, not them.
04:08You know what the Fourth Amendment is?
04:09Would you like to tell us about how it applies?
04:11Do you know what the Fourth Amendment is?
04:13You're a counselor.
04:14Unreasonable search and seizure.
04:16Mm-hmm.

04:17Do you know how this applies in this case?
04:19They took documents, and it was a whole thing.
04:22The judge said no.
04:23That's not why they were pardoned, but whatever.
04:26The editor explained that this case is obviously not going to eat after all of a hundred people.
04:30The judge said no.
