00:00Once upon a time, in a quiet village surrounded by deep forests, lived a kind couple who longed
00:06to have a child. After many years, their wish came true. But during the mother's pregnancy,
00:11she craved a special herb called Rapunzel that grew in the garden of a mysterious enchantress.
00:17The husband, desperate to help his wife, climbed the wall of the garden one night and picked some
00:21of the plant. But as he did so again the next night, the enchantress caught him.
00:26How dare you steal from my garden, she cried. He begged for mercy, explaining that it was for
00:31his wife. The enchantress softened, but with a condition. You may take as much as you wish,
00:38but when the child is born, you must give her to me. Fearfully, the man agreed.
00:43When the baby girl was born, the enchantress appeared and took her away. She named the child
00:48Rapunzel and raised her deep in the forest. As the girl grew, she became more beautiful each day,
00:54with long golden hair that shimmered like sunlight. When Rapunzel turned twelve,
00:59the enchantress locked her in a tall tower with no doors or stairs, only one window. To visit her,
01:06the enchantress would call, Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair, so I may climb without a stare.
01:12Years passed. Rapunzel grew lonely, but she found comfort in singing to the birds and watching the
01:18sun rise and set. Her voice was so sweet that it echoed through the forest. One day,
01:23a young prince rode near the tower and heard her song. Entranced, he followed the sound and hid
01:30behind a tree. He watched in wonder as the enchantress called up and climbed Rapunzel's
01:35hair. The next day, when the enchantress left, the prince tried himself. Rapunzel,
01:41Rapunzel, let down your hair, he called. To his delight, the golden braid lowered and he climbed up.
01:47Rapunzel was startled, but the prince spoke kindly. I heard your song, he said. It led me to you.
01:56They became friends, sharing stories and laughter each time he visited. Eventually,
02:01they fell in love. One day, Rapunzel whispered, will you take me away from this tower?
02:06But the enchantress discovered their plan. In anger, she cut off Rapunzel's long hair and banished
02:12her to a desert far away. When the prince came again, the enchantress tricked him using the cut
02:17braid. Once at the top, she pushed him, and he fell into thorns that blinded him. Heartbroken and blind,
02:24the prince wandered the land for years, searching for Rapunzel by her voice. At last, one day,
02:29he heard a familiar song in the wind. Following it, he found Rapunzel in the desert, holding their
02:35newborn twins. She wept with joy and held him close. As her tears touched his eyes, his sight returned.
02:43With love and hope, they returned to the prince's kingdom and lived happily, raising their family
02:47with kindness and wisdom. Moral of the story is that kindness, patience, and hope can overcome even
02:54the tallest towers.
