00:00a friday live right here on the early line where we were slightly worried we might not have any
00:05playoff games to break down in the association until june 5th the new york knicks had other
00:11ideas they stare into the eye of elimination and say not today the new york knicks winning by 17
00:18in game number five staving off elimination and extending the eastern conference finals
00:24for at least one more night on a saturday in indianapolis to break it all down and give his
00:30early thoughts on game six as well the coach jy james young is here bright and early on this friday
00:37morning jy as always we appreciate the time thanks for being here on tel well it's great to be on you
00:44today not talking about a next funeral but a game six some adjustments we need to get into what new
00:49york did last night yes certainly so jy and that's where we start the first game of any of our five
00:56in the eastern conference finals a team is won by double digits the new york knicks do so comfortably
01:02inside the mecca last night 111 94 17 point win the knicks cover as a four and a half point favorite
01:09and a total of 222 stays well under so you talked about what new york did well last night
01:16what did the knicks flip in game number five well let's look at one thing offensively or one thing
01:23defensively obviously you're going to talk about the play of jalen brunton to start the game but i
01:27thought it was smart of tom thibodeau to not always have him bring the ball to court ben get him on the
01:32move where indiana could not load up his defense handoff stuff like that and i think i think people
01:39need to recognize aaron naismith is compromised you saw jalen brunton particularly try to go to his
01:43right early kind of and now laces to push off that right foot which makes it difficult so jalen
01:49brunton going to his right getting him on the move was key the second thing is i thought i wanted
01:54og to go on halliburton but tip did something smart he kept bridges on him but they picked him up in
02:02the backcourt they made him turn one or two times uh you know defensively now if you get a guy to turn
02:08one or two times ben that could be a difference of two to three seconds on the shot clock now you're
02:13starting your offense a little bit later than a custom and then you get to a point where if you
02:19keep pushing him out pushing him out how important isn't the one that's like quick enough to go to the
02:25basket just blow by people if you pick them up in the backcourt that was key third thing is the knicks did
02:30not allow them to get into transition the knicks were opportunistic when they ran but they more went into
02:37what i call like a like a secondary break which is more of like a sideline break a little bit less
02:42speed which still gets to the shot clock early but doesn't rush them those three things were huge
02:49changes made by tips and it paid off for the knicks last night love the knicks yesterday coach loved
02:54them to cover the spread i thought they were in a great spot and as you said came out on fire but sort
02:58of let that lead leak away at the end of the first quarter but they didn't miss a beat won the second
03:02quarter by seven points if we look at that starting lineup for the pacers because we've always said
03:07how deep the pacers are and how good that starting five plays together 15 points out of siakam was the
03:12best of the bunch here three five six eight points respectively throughout the rest of the starters
03:16is this something that can continue with the knicks defensive pressure or is it one of those where we
03:22had a video here coming up of tyrese halliburton that said you know what they were just better in
03:26this game they were more intense their defensive intensity was really ratcheted up can the knicks turn
03:30that over to a game six and a game seven or was this just an anomaly you think well listen at the end
03:36of the day can they just literally not turn the ball over that's the key with the knicks because
03:42indiana they they live in transition right they got to get up and down and i think that's the key is
03:48if they can get up and down to able to do so then they forced 20 turbos knicks only 15 and they're
03:54also donnie there's different kinds of turnovers live versus dead ball a live ball turnover you get a
03:59fast but you go right and that's what indiana wants they like we want live turnovers block shots
04:05obviously uh and then obviously runouts uh same thing with steals when you score and you milk the
04:11clock a little bit you force them to play half court ball the other thing is this we talk there's
04:15a term that we talk about we call jam the outlet meaning even on mix indiana likes to get that ball
04:20out and get up the floor if you pick up halliburton at half court or three quarter court now we can't
04:27get it on the move and get up the floor it's a lot of do with flow and the knicks disrupted their flow
04:32last night we'll see if it can happen but indiana that was not a great performance but you have to
04:37give the knicks credit defensively jy that's one of the things i noticed first as soon as there was
04:42even a made basket which is one of the things the pacers do better than anybody in basketball
04:46even after a make they can get into transition very quickly there was somebody for new york
04:51basically there on the inbounder as soon as that ball went through the hoop tyrese halliburton
04:57after a historic performance in game number four in indy last night in game five only eight points
05:04he took it on the chin said the performance was on him expect some more resolve from indiana in game
05:10number six tomorrow we'll talk about game six in just a matter of moments but of course jy if your
05:15season is on the brink you need your superstars to shine jalen brunson 32 points carl anthony towns a
05:2124.13 rebound performance in game number five how was this dynamic duo so dominant last night against
05:29indiana well number one the fact that they got brunson off to a good start you know i think it
05:34was six of nine from the floor the first quarter and he got into all of his bag ben right getting to
05:39the basket bump off when he gets into the lane if he gets a switch walk up three where you just kind
05:44of lull the defender to sleep and shoot the three but the key thing that i've talked about on this show
05:51on any show on sports grid is i need we needed tips to stagger the minutes you're now seeing
05:58cat with four defenders mainly bench guys hart mcbride shaman has been really good delon right
06:05even precious at times put guys that are decent defenders spread the floor and let cat get into
06:12his bag it's kind of like a 1a 1b offensively so now you put you start both of them uh we'll see where
06:18we can go from there but what a start in the first quarter ben but then they started to get cat going
06:23and then those two kind of traded off and indiana never had an answer last night coach series prices
06:30here starting to change as well you take a look at the indiana pacers were that really heavy favorite
06:34yesterday still a heavy favorite today because game six is on their home court at a minus 370 price
06:38but the new york knicks now under three dollars as an underdog at plus 295 looking forward at these price
06:45points may be biting on the knicks yet or it's still wait and see and you'll hold off until they
06:50can maybe force a game number seven you know listen it's about the fact that the spread is three and a
06:55half in this in game number six that's telling you this is almost a pick them right now if you bake
07:00two and a half for the home team we'll see what happens we'll talk more about it after this commercial
07:04break yeah we'll talk about game number six tomorrow night in indianapolis will the pacers
07:10clinch a spot in the nba finals or will the knicks send us back to madison square garden
07:15winner take all game seven good stuff
07:18so the eastern conference finals has life but just how much that's for us to discuss here
07:26as we look forward to a saturday night in downtown indianapolis it is game number six of the eastern
07:32conference finals between the pacers and the knicks jy indiana a three and a half point early
07:38favorite for game number six and a total now at 218 for the over under on the fan duel sports book
07:46game six the pacers with an outright win advance to the nba finals with an outright victory for new
07:51york on the road as an underdog forcing a game seven back inside the world's most famous arena
07:58jy the knicks stave off elimination last night but tell us for tomorrow night what happens in game
08:04number six well that total coming down to 217 and a half tells you what it's going to be and they
08:09expect the knicks to kind of rinse and repeat their formula of trying to make this a half court game and
08:14i think that's what you're going to see they're going to dare indiana to win the game in the half
08:20court now the key is going to be watching obviously the turnover especially live ball turnovers by the
08:24knicks especially someone like josh hart who was really really bad in game four much much better in game
08:30five do the knicks fall into the trap it's very simple folks if you think this game is going over
08:36then you're probably going with indiana if you think it's going under you're going with the knicks it's
08:40just the recipe of two contrasting styles the interesting thing to look at guys is first quarter
08:47points jayla brunson was in his absolute bag last night his over on the for the first quarter i think
08:53is that eight and a half points but i'm gonna go the other way i'm gonna go cat it's only four and a
08:59half points and it's at plus 126 he will get off to a slow start because i'll let brunson get going
09:05early i think cat has found something when he starts to drive the ball and you spread the floor
09:09he should be able to get an open three quick pretty quickly curl anthony towns over four and a half
09:15points in the first quarter at plus 126 on vandal right now yeah if i'm looking at game number six to
09:21forget it from the side perspective i do think the pacers win this game same way i thought the new
09:25york knicks were winning game number five but the under does make some sense not because we don't know
09:28what the pace of play is going to be but referees usually understand the assignment late in the
09:32series let the players figure this one out now grant you're not going to get away with nonsense
09:36fouls but the ticky tack fouls and the hand checks up at the top of the key they'll let those go
09:41through which makes it a little bit harder to score which brings me to my next point here coach
09:45jaylen brunson 31 and a half points as his total he got 32 in game number five again he had some
09:50performances in the first quarter coach which i thought he was going 40 plus 50 plus points here
09:55cooled down the second quarter heated back up in the third you take a look at tyrese halliburton
09:58that a terrible game per se in game number five 20 and a half points here how are you playing the
10:04big guys here at the point guard position for both of these teams well listen for indiana for them for
10:10halliburton it's got to be about the assist more than the points if i'm indiana though i'm saying that
10:15i i can't let brunson get off early that's why you look at someone like cat to play better
10:21also look at the fact that og and anobi did not shoot the ball well i think two of 10 from the
10:24floor last night maybe it gives you a better performance here's the thing if they are going
10:30to let you play donny and you're right they're probably going to stay out of it this benefits
10:35new york because they're going to be able to play more physical like they did last game so to me it
10:42comes down to this does indiana match the intensity what do they do with handles with brunson do they
10:48blow it up by send two people if you're indiana get the ball out of brunson's hands make other
10:53people beat you if you're in new york if you let tyrese halliburton go off but he can't get other
10:58people going because there's not a lot of guys can create their shot maybe pascal that's the recipe
11:03but if you're talking about half court basketball physical basketball that's going to benefit the
11:08knicks jalen brunson a game high 32 points last night his 10th performance in this postseason with at
11:14least 30 the most for a single new york nick in a single postseason an nba playoff history as we
11:21look at the supporting staff jy you mentioned og and an oby carl anthony towns two consecutive games
11:27north of this points prop at 22 and a half and pascal siakam the only guy in the starting five for
11:33indiana last night reaching double figures he had 15 of the six guys on that list whose performance
11:40in game six is most important to the outcome tomorrow night it's carl anthony towns because
11:47when he when he decides when listen i hate to say it's about a guy in the playoffs ben when he decides
11:52to play and he decides to take the ball to the basket and play more inside out and have the ability
11:59to drive it opens up his three-point shot when he drives to the basket siakam can't stop him he's too
12:06small uh turner can't stop him not physical enough and there's no one on the bench can do it here's
12:12the thing can the knicks win when we know what brunson going under 30 points yes can they won't
12:18carl anthony towns can be under 20 points the answer is no oh a very good assessment there jy and a great
12:24breakdown early on this friday or tomorrow night game number six in indianapolis pacers an early three
12:31and a half point home favorite needing just one win to get back to the nba finals for the first time
12:37in 25 years where the oklahoma city thunder await more on that next tomorrow night game number six
12:43in indianapolis between the pacers and the knicks how many more games do we have in the eastern
12:49conference finals well the nba finals start on june 5th in the team we know already there in the
12:56championship set the oklahoma city thunder jy still with us here on this friday morning on the early
13:02line on sports grid jy you were not with us after okc clinched a western conference championship in only
13:09a fifth game a few nights ago at home winning by 30 in game number five to pull off the gentleman's
13:16sweep against the minnesota timberwolves okc expected to reach this stage throughout the entirety
13:22of this nba season but jy we had a few questions about this thunder core led by the now mvp in
13:30shea gildress alexander and head coach mark dignell did they have the postseason pedigree had they
13:36learned from their experience to reach a place they had not since 2012 what did you make of how
13:43oklahoma city reached the nba finals doing so in only five games in the western conference finals
13:48i'll be honest with you ben they need to thank the denver nuggets because the denver nuggets pushed
13:54them and and they lost different ways they lost a game one at home right they had a tight loss in
14:01game three uh they had to come back after losing game six to win a game seven but since that game seven
14:08about right about three minutes left to go in the second quarter they have been the oklahoma city thunder
14:13team that we've expected and seen all season which is rely heavily on that highly ranked defense
14:20and then have enough offensive firepower to be offensively diverse meaning i know sga is the mvp we
14:28we we have to crown him and maybe start to have this conversation of the talk of is he arguably maybe
14:35the best player in the world or how close is he to that number one spot but it's been the evolution
14:41of jalen williams it's been having chet holmgren for the entire season it's getting isaiah hartenstein
14:47from the new york knicks to give them uh that that that leadership that toughness in the paint
14:51it's alex caruso who literally i should just call him the prison warden because he just puts whoever he
14:57guards he puts that kid in jail but it's the bench and it's been a slow buildup by uh sam pressy and
15:06now it looks like i don't even know if i'm even on right now because i can't see anything you are
15:09maybe just refresh real quick no there we go no don't refresh keep it right there use it now you
15:15go to see you go to the superstar right now so i'm supposed to ask the question to coach why he's
15:19frozen it doesn't matter coach let's unfreeze this let me ask you this question too because you look
15:23at the knicks game where if they force game number six which they did if they force game number seven
15:28which we'll find out the question to me is going to be coach is if we get them talking about the knicks
15:33only a two or three game distance to the finals but then you have let's just say okc all for a long time
15:39is that good for them you because usually when you're a team and you're hot you're playing well
15:43you don't want to sit out for a full week how does that affect okc heading into the finals where
15:48they're going to be a team that's going to be really rested especially if we see seven games in the east
15:52yeah i mean if you think about it here if it goes seven what i may do guys to be honest with you is
15:58i may take indiana new york in the first half to be in the lead uh right now fando only has odds for game
16:04one for indiana oklahoma city because of the fact that indiana is up three games or two and right now
16:09it looks like it's a it's a minus nine with a uh favorite so you know i'm going to probably take
16:16the knicks or the pacers if it goes seven to win the first half and then play the game live but here's
16:21the thing though if you no matter who it is between new york and indiana and off the oklahoma city these
16:27are three teams that haven't been there so what are the nerves going to be like right how are the nerves
16:33going to be there i think it affects both teams but it may affect oklahoma city a little bit more
16:39in regards to the fact that there would be the home team with the longer break maybe look at indiana
16:43or new york plus the points or even on the money line in the first half to try and jump game one
16:49particularly if the nicks and pacers go to monday night for a game seven and it did not matter if the
16:54series of the eastern conference came to a close last night in msg it does not matter if it ends
16:59tomorrow night on a saturday in indy game number one of the nba finals is set in stone it is thursday
17:06june 5th if we go back to oklahoma city all year long jy the best regular season record 68 and 14 12
17:14playoff victories and only 16 postseason games oklahoma city jy one of four teams in nba playoff
17:22history with at least 80 wins before the nba finals gets underway and yet i think there is
17:30maybe a prevailing sentiment that yeah oklahoma city is really good but not the most fearsome nba
17:37championship contender we have ever seen where do you put the thunder in terms of the great teams
17:43in the nba that we have been witness to in the last decade or so listen i i may be in the minority
17:52i put them right up there i just think they're so good and they're so young they're so balanced
17:57and they can beat you in different ways you can they can beat you running up the floor they can beat
18:02you walking up the floor they can beat you an offensive game they can beat you in the defensive
18:05game they can beat you any way they want here's here's the issue man it's two words oklahoma city
18:13if they're in new york if they were in boston if they were in la if they were in miami if they
18:19were in dallas they would be getting far more respect than what they were getting because of
18:24their location it's also the fact they have not been there yet but they are so good and and here's
18:31the thing i was kind of thinking about this this morning when i was when i was like you know i got
18:36up early i re-watched the nick game last night the only chance that you could beat oklahoma city
18:42is you got to out tough them you got to you got you got to question their toughness right so if
18:48indiana gets a yum yum yum yum it's i don't think it's gonna work the next how they played last night
18:55if they get to the nba finals that could be intriguing because they'll slow the game down
19:01and they'll be more physical and try to make the referees not make the foul calls i don't think
19:07even though indiana plays that way just because you play that way doesn't mean it's the best chance
19:12to win that way indiana if they get to the finals will have to adjust and be far more physical and
19:18far better defensively let's take a look at that finals picture here at the fan blue sports book
19:23which shows oklahoma city thunder to win it all a minus 750 price followed by the pacers of course
19:29they have the lead series lead over the new york knicks looking to close it out in six games at a plus
19:33700 price and if the new york knicks find their way into the finals with a three game comeback here
19:39in five six and seven there are 16 to one price if we look at the price points right now obviously
19:44overwhelming favor because okc because they're already there talking about if there's any price
19:49points that you like between these three teams and also once we do settle on the finals are we
19:53still looking at oklahoma city that high of a favorite here coach they should be that high of a
19:58favorite because if it's the new york knicks let's look at the fact that they played them twice
20:01during the air and they blew their doors off it wasn't even a contest so it does make sense for
20:06oklahoma city to be a big favorite versus new york indiana obviously the next line is going to move
20:12if you want to jump on new york you jump on them now you think they're going to win a series because
20:15you're not going to get a better price even if they win game six that's going to move a little bit
20:20more here's the thing i honestly think the best way to do is wait for this thing out and play the series
20:25spread and see what kind of spread you get it at because i think if it's new york
20:31i think me honestly i think new york can get it to six and losing six i don't think with the way
20:37the pacers get it i don't think it's gonna be more than a five game series because indiana is just one
20:43win away from the nba finals for the first time in two and a half decades the hypothetical nba
20:48finals matchup that we have in an exact series price for is okc versus indiana it's minus 770
20:56even greater than that number we showed you with the three teams remaining in the hunt for a larry
21:01o'brien trophy minus 70 770 for the thunder outright the pacers a plus 540 price in that series
21:09outright number a series spread would be oklahoma city laying two and a half games at minus 120 what
21:16does that mean the thunder would have to win in at most five games to cover that series spread it is
21:24very interesting jy to see what the odds are anticipating for the nba championship matchup as
21:31of this moment of course still a lot to figure out in the eastern conference finals we'll know a lot
21:35more come the end of tomorrow night in indianapolis the pacers and the knicks indiana a three and a half
21:42point favorite for game six a total at 218 jy a fade away to the break we appreciate your time as
21:49always here on this friday morning on the early line on sports grid and we get that the tyrese
21:55halliburton shot a couple of palo what highly what he's like oh my lord grunson
22:00the face is the new face new face of what the hell are you talking about
22:30like seriously well the new face of the nba anthony yeah okay talk you know what i mean like really
22:36guys got two shots face of the nba slow down he's a good player i've always thought the whole face of
22:43the nba thing was comical you you want him to be the face of the nba because you don't like it that
22:48all the other faces the nba are in america sports rage tonight only on sports grid
22:54if you go through cat that means cat at 11 to 1 could be easter conference finals mvp the worst
23:04team in the wnba is the chicago scott they have no perimeter play they're playing too many minutes
23:15and angel reese doesn't have the help she needs betting above the ram only on sports grid
23:24i already heard yesterday that he's got no shot uh to win the cy young because it's going to scoogle
23:32again uh scoogle's winning the cy young no shot for free they're both uh terrific they both have
23:39incredible numbers and credentials and stats and strikeouts and era and everything like every
23:47single category freed is right there with him pharrell coast to coast only on sports grid we're going to
23:55go through every single thing and i've got a great team behind me that's going to help me get the job
23:58done i want this to be the place that people come to there is going to be an energy to game time
24:05decisions that you will feel night in and night out we are going to hit every single one of those
24:10markets that you need to know about we will have everything at our disposal and we will use that to
24:15our advantage there is not going to be a better place i promise you than game time decisions i'm
24:20kevin walsh tune in to game time decisions weekdays on sports grid
24:35a stanley cup final for 2025 is now set and it's a stanley cup rematch from what we saw
24:49exactly a year ago to help us make sense of the conference finals coming to a close and what to
24:55look forward to in the cup final the nhl's chris meanie joins us now live on this friday morning
25:00on the early line on sports grid chris as always we appreciate the time my man looking forward to
25:06breaking down what we saw last night in dallas and of course the stanley cup final rematch between the
25:12oilers and the panthers yeah thanks for having me guys uh always exciting of course uh the stanley
25:18cup finals and nba finals but to get a rematch and it really has been the two best teams in each
25:24conference in the edmonton oilers and the florida panthers so it should be highly entertaining and
25:29last night was just another moment for conor mcdavid on the nhl resume yeah let's start with
25:36how the west was won by edmonton for a second consecutive year the oilers victorious on road
25:42ice in big d with a 6-3 victory in game number five chris in game number one the lone stars victory
25:50in this series they scored five unanswered goals in the third period but in the four consecutive
25:55victories for edmonton a plus 14 goal differential outscoring the stars 19 to 5 what was the key for
26:04the oilers to win the western conference crown once again i'll start with goaltending which was
26:09really the biggest surprise for me in this series and that's why i gave dallas the edge and jake
26:14ottinger who got pulled a short leash last night from pete de boer yanking him after two goals but
26:18stewart skinner uh you know when he came in for an injured calvin pickard in the second round against
26:24the the vegas golden knights you know his game really turned around and he only allowed five
26:28goals in the final four games of the series dallas got nothing at five and five in this series like
26:34absolutely nothing and you look last night in a must-win situation at home with all the fans there
26:41they had 14 shots at five and five they had four shots at five and five in the second period and they
26:46had four shots in the third period at five and five as well they got the early goal from jason
26:50robertson he was the only guy that really showed up for the stars in this series so yeah i want to
26:55give some credit to the edmonton oilers conor mcdavid did his his thing nine points he had that
26:59unreal breakaway goal he's got three 33 speed bursts of over 22 miles per hour 19 more than the next
27:06closest guy in the stanley cup playoffs he's a freak leon drysville had nine points but also
27:11secondary scoring ryan newgen hopkins nine points cory perry scored last night two goals for the
27:1640 year old in the series cane four points jeff skinner steps in for an injured zach hyman he scored
27:21a goal last night so i look at the dallas stars players and i see the five and five play the stars
27:26had more scoring chances high danger chances shot attempts in the series but edmonton had 13 goals
27:31at five and five and the stars only had five matthew shane one goal in 18 games in the playoffs
27:36mason marchmont one goal in 18 games in the playoffs so yes the big boys showed up for edmonton they got
27:41great goaltending from skinner but up and down their lineup they just had more depth and it really
27:46showed at five and five you take a look here chris on the seasonal statistics for edmonton like and
27:52even the past couple years they're a fun brand of hockey they play a lot of overs and it's like okay if
27:57we get some good goaltending maybe we can make a run to this thing but as you take a look at the last
28:01two games against the golden knights back-to-back shutouts outside of game number one against the stars
28:05where they lost six to three three to nothing six to one four to one before giving up three goals last night
28:10is this something that we can anticipate moving forward saying you know what if edmonton gets really
28:15good defense and really good goaltending along with that offense boy oh boy it sounds like maybe we are
28:19bringing back a stanley cup to canada finally yeah it certainly could happen and again i'll go to
28:25stewart skinner he he basically has to be perfect i mean we know what the florida panthers can bring
28:29to the table this is the third straight season they'll be playing in the stanley cup finals the last time we
28:33chatted i do believe i i talk about having them in the finals one more time uh and last year you know
28:40you look at the seven game series there were a couple games where there was some high powered
28:43offensive attacks especially from edmonton i look at games four five and six actually four five six and
28:49seven they always had 19 goals and only gave up seven but the under hit four of the seven games in
28:54the series it was tight checking and that's the same sort of deal florida plays a tight checking
29:00style of hockey of five and five they don't give up a whole lot uh and when these two teams played
29:05last year it was very very similar i mean i was looking at it again this morning and i couldn't
29:09believe how similar it was between the two teams in terms of just five and five play the shot attempts
29:14uh the scoring chances basically even i think at five and five the panthers had one more shot and two
29:21more high danger chances so the goals were even at five and five 14 ap so i think it's going to be a
29:26tight checking series obviously donnie there's a lot of offensive firepower on both sides but both
29:31goalies are playing good roboski's playing just as good as skinner over the past a couple of rounds so
29:37i think you know there's a potential for for high scoring games but i do believe we'll see some tight
29:42checking and that's something i took away as well from last night and the series not so much against
29:47vegas but in particular against dallas because i thought that they were one of the deepest teams in the
29:51league and just so tight checking uh you mentioned the goals against it's it's skinner and it's the
29:57style and brand that the oilers are playing because we're used to seeing them have to beat you by scoring
30:02six or seven goals and that's just not the case this time around a lot of similarities of course to
30:07last year's cup final when the panthers won in seven games and the edmonton oilers were even a force
30:13even able to force that seventh game and what was a great stanley cup final we'll talk about the
30:19rematch will fully preview the series in just a matter of moments but chris of course there are
30:24similar similarities there are a ton of familiarities in this stage including for the florida panthers
30:29who are playing in the stanley cup final for a third consecutive year as that reigning cup champion
30:35within the organization what has sparked this almost dynastic run for florida i think paul maurice
30:43all right um the florida panthers were kind of always knocking on the door i mean first of all
30:49there's two things really there's paul maurice who who's been around in the league for a long time
30:54i mean he coached against rod brendamore and he coached rod brendamore uh back in the day right so
31:00he's had a lot of experience as a head coach uh in the nhl so you know when when they made the
31:06coaching change and they brought him in after having a good season uh the year before he kind of sparked
31:11them and also the big trade with jonathan huberdo who had a career season for the florida panthers
31:15they move huberdo and mckenzie weiger to calgary for matthew kachuk right and gives them you know
31:22an identity a different identity they always had a ton of skill and a ton of speed but then they
31:26add matthew kachuk they add sam bennett a couple years ago now they have the sandpaper with the skill
31:30with the speed and sergey burblasky's who who've won a couple vesnas uh before this recent run from
31:37the florida panthers so i think it just goes to management making those tough decisions right you see
31:41some teams like the maple leafs we'll see what they do in the off season do they make a big change
31:46and follow florida's suit and i think that's what we saw with the panthers and and they're just
31:50they're unstoppable at the moment a rematch in the stanley cup final it's the oilers and the panthers
31:56once again and it starts on wednesday chris beanie breaks down the series next

32:20Did you know sportsbooks tend to draw up tighter bet lines for events that get even more bettors,
32:38like championship games or major matchups?
32:41My tip? Try betting on less popular sports.
32:45You might have a better shot at beating those odds.
32:48Now, go get lucky.
32:50See you in Los Pages. Let's get lucky.
32:58If you go through Cat, that means Cat at 11-1 could be Eastern Conference Finals MVP.
33:05The worst team in the WNBA is the Chicago Sky.
33:12They have no perimeter play.
33:15They're playing too many minutes.
33:18And Angel Reese doesn't have the help she needs betting above the rim.

33:26I actually like the fact that they went seven games against a quality opponent here and still had to face adversity even in a game number seven.
33:35How are we setting up this next series with a rested Minnesota Timberwolves team taking on OKC fresh from the fight here?
33:41They had an extremely, maybe this is too strong to say, easier pathway than people thought, particularly because of their size.
33:51The early line.

34:23Just like last year, a Stanley Cup final rematch between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers.
34:49But in 2024, it was Florida in sunrise with home ice advantage this time around.
34:55It's the Oilers that have home ice advantage starting with game number one on Wednesday evening.
35:00Up.
