00:08but only one stood out with heartfelt support from his pupils.

00:14Now, this exceptional maths teacher consistently finds ways to challenge students,

00:19encouraging them to think critically and creatively.

00:24He has cultivated a classroom environment

00:27where everyone feels comfortable speaking up,

00:30fostering respect and collaboration among peers.

00:34Now, beyond the classroom, this teacher has gone the extra mile

00:37by helping students progress in their interests,

00:41such as a new hobby, and has inspired them to follow their dreams.

00:46Now, the Teacher of the Year this year is from St Andrews High School

00:49and is Mr Galman.
