Prime Minister Narendra Modi met 14-year-old cricket prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi at Patna Airport following his standout performance for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025. Suryavanshi, who returned to his hometown after RR’s playoff exit, was accompanied by his family during the meeting with the Prime Minister.

01:03Well, of course, you know, Prime Minister is known for his gender.

01:06He loves sports, be athletics or any other sport or be cricket.

01:11And meeting Vaibhav is something really big for him,

01:14because he is the youngest player who makes his debut for Rajasthan Royals when regular players wasn't there.

01:21I mean, Sanju was injured and Rajasthan was struggling for their opening line-up.

01:26And they had Vaibhav in their camp.

01:29And that is why Raul Rebhav is actually the head coach of Rajasthan Royals.

01:33He actually asked Vaibhav to go and open the industry with Vaibhav as well.

01:38And, you know, this particular young kid, he played a phenomenal evening for Rajasthan Royals.

01:45He was gifted his three by, you know, making 100 for Rajasthan Royals at this very small age.

01:51So, I mean, meeting Prime Minister is going to be a big thing for him.

01:55And he'll always remember and cherish this moment,

01:58because, you know, every athlete, whoever, you know, goes into the play field,

02:04he'll always try and do well for the nation.

02:06And Prime Minister, he has always known meeting, you know, our athletes.

02:11I remember very clearly when our, you know, Olympics team was going to participate in Tokyo Olympics.

02:17Prime Minister had a good meeting with 100 of the athletes.

02:21And similarly, you know, at the time of Commonwealth Games or at the time of Paris Olympics,

02:25he always loved, you know, to meet athletes, meet sports persons.

02:29And as far as Vaibhav's meeting is gone with Prime Minister,

02:33it is going to be a big day for Vaibhav, of course.

03:24he has emerged as a sensational cricketer, hitting the fastest century in this IPL.

03:30And, obviously, he has hit the headlines also and hawked a lot of limelight as he's only 14 years old.

03:37And at this young age, he has created several, you can say, records also by hitting the fastest century.

03:43So, it seems that the Prime Minister, who always speaks to a lot of athletes, sportsperson,

03:49he has a meeting regularly, now got a chance to meet Vaibhav Suryavanshi and his family also.
