Pernyataan Gedung Putih soal Mundurnya Elon Musk dari Pemerintahan Trump

WASHINGTON, KOMPAS.TV  Gedung Putih berbicara mengenai pengunduran diri Elon Musk dari pemerintahan AS di bawah Presiden Donald Trump.    Hal ini disampaikan oleh Sekretaris Pers Gedung Putih, Karoline Leavitt, di Washington pada Kamis (29/5/2025) waktu setempat.    Sekretaris pers menyampaikan bahwa pemerintah berterima kasih kepada Trump atas upayanya dalam Departemen Efisiensi Pemerintah.    "Kami berterima kasih kepadanya karena telah membuat DOGE berdiri. Upaya untuk mengurangi pemborosan, penipuan, dan penyalahgunaan akan terus berlanjut," ujar Leavitt. 00:06Well, the president is very proud of the one big beautiful bill, and he wants to see it pass.

00:11He wants the Senate to get to work on it, and send it to his desk as quickly as possible.

00:15Of course, as you know, Elon Musk announced last night his departure as an official special government employee from the Trump administration.

00:22We thank him for his service. We thank him for getting doge off of the ground.

00:27And the efforts to cut waste, fraud, and abuse will continue.

00:30Well, the entire cabinet is involved, and I spoke to the president about it this morning.

00:34And the entire cabinet understands the need to cut government waste, fraud, and abuse.

00:39And each cabinet secretary at their respective agencies is committed to that.

00:43That's why they were working hand-in-hand with Elon Musk, and they'll continue to work with the respective doge employees

00:48who have onboarded as political appointees at all of these agencies.

00:52So, surely the mission of doge will continue, and many doge employees are now political appointees and employees of our government.

00:59And to the best of my knowledge, all of them intend to stay and continue this important work.

01:04Yeah, so, really you can think of a car, or future cars, as being robots on four wheels.

01:11And, you know, I think it would be very exciting to have autonomous vehicles here in the kingdom.
