00:01He absolutely, yeah, absolutely a perfect balancing act. Doesn't he always on his centre stage?
00:07I mean, I just think he has done a great, great job.
00:12And I believe, you know, the feeling of Canada is not alone in this fight
00:17does filter through, along with the symbolic gestures that we see continuously
00:27when, you know, seeing King Charles at any events.
00:32You know, small things like him sitting on the wooden chair during the Commonwealth.
00:39You know, I just think this has been great.
00:42And I have to say the ceremonial side has been tremendous.
00:47But a delicate tightrope, I didn't feel he's stepped into the political terrain.
00:54And I just think, you know, he's also sort of issuing the message in a way about the proud, resilient country.
01:07And I do feel in my heart that he is applauding the diversity, the multicultural, the democracy.
01:17And there we are. I mean, he gave that speech impeccably, as he always does speaking French.
01:26And he's aware there's no president at the moment.
01:30But Carney, very bright.
01:32And as I say, I cannot believe that he has flown out.
01:37We know that he's having his cancer treatment, but it just shows his tenacity,
01:42how he wanted to be there and wants to be part of this.
01:48He wants everyone to feel together.
01:52And, yep, he's there.
01:54So, incredible to see.
01:56I will dissect that speech shortly.
01:59I haven't watched it enough, really, to go into it.
02:02Yeah, no, it was very good.
02:04And Helena, the King and the Queen now, will make their way towards Ottawa Airport.
02:11Believed to be leaving the country around about 22, about 20 minutes time before 10 to 6.
02:18Believed to be taking off.
02:19We'll cross that live as it happens.
02:21A real whistle-stop tour, a whirlwind tour.
02:23Absolutely.
02:24And isn't it nice, at last, to see countries abroad not trying to say,
02:27let's get the Republic out.
02:29You know, let's have a vote and let's end British rule.
02:32Canada fully embracing its sovereign heritage.
02:36Beautiful stuff, Helena Child.
02:37Thank you for joining us.
02:38That's up to them.
02:39Well done. Cheers.
02:40I'm going to speak to you again soon.
