00:00How are your grandparents feeling? Obviously, Phil is battling Alzheimer's. I know your grandma
00:05wasn't doing well. So how are they doing? Yeah, it's been a really tough time, honestly. He is
00:11not doing great and she is honestly not doing great either. But I will say kind of a silver
00:18lining blessing in disguise is that their love for one another is so prevalent in the most
00:27beautiful way through such a tragic situation. Just seeing two people love each other that
00:34much who have loved each other since they were 15 years old is so inspiring when it comes
00:38to love and going through hard times. And so it has been very hard to watch them go through
00:43what they've gone through. But seeing them comfort each other in it has been really, really
00:48beautiful. And it's just so unique that we would be doing a show, Duck Dynasty, The Revival
00:53in a time where we're showing a new generation and our older generation is struggling, you
00:59know, and starting to head towards the end. And I'm, you know, birthing a new generation.
01:06All of it seems so symbolic in a beautiful way. And we've been watching a lot of the old
01:11Duck Dynasty, which I've never actually done. I've never gone back and watched. And the first
01:16few episodes we watched, I just cried every time I saw scenes of my grandparents. But I
01:20was like, man, I'm so glad that I have this to like see my grandparents when they were
01:25at their best and how they were just thriving. And so I keep that in mind as we're filming
01:30this. I'm like, man, it's gonna be so cool one day to look back and like, see me have
01:35this baby and like see our girls like growing up on TV with Honey and Haven, like being such
01:41a part of it. So I don't know, going back and watching them now being at the state they're
01:46at, it's sweet to know that we're documenting things for our family in the same way.
