01:17I was already with Shay for a couple years when we were filming season one.
01:22So all of this, I like to remind people, happened in 2006.
01:29We weren't on air until 2013.
01:32There was a lot of time that had passed, a lot of growth that I had been on, been through.
01:38And it was a story that I felt like needed to be told again, because I don't think anyone
01:46took it seriously back then.
01:48I think they just saw me as this girl who wanted to be with famous guys and saw this guy and
01:55didn't care that he had a pregnant wife at home.
01:58I now, looking back, obviously hindsight is 20-20.

02:06I felt like I was leading with my heart and not my brain.
02:10And I think another common misconception is that I'm not smart.

02:44Once there were some photos that had leaked, I'm certain from a friend of mine who was on
02:50the boat with us because that's who had the photos.
02:52Once those were out there, I was just like, you know what?

02:57I'm going to hurt you.
02:58And that was an extremely immature 22, 23-year-old response.
03:05I wasn't thinking about his wife and toddlers at home who were potentially watching this
03:11interview.
03:13I was, and people like to say that I like to make everything about me and whatnot.
03:18This was an instance where I was only thinking about myself in that situation.
03:24And that was not okay.
03:26It was extremely immature.
03:27It was extremely irresponsible.
03:29And it is one thing that I do heavily regret in life.
03:34I am so sorry to Brandy for her having to find out about me the way that she did.
03:41She didn't deserve any of that.
03:42And lo and behold, look what my husband did to me.
03:47It really felt like I truly got my karma.
03:50And did I deserve for that to happen?
03:55No, but I told myself that I did.
03:59That's been something that I am working on in therapy because I know I didn't deserve that.
04:04But I think it also helped me move towards the path of forgiveness a little easier because I still, part of me does feel like I deserved that, even though I was the one who was lied to.

04:56I think that there must have been times where we were in the same room and he avoided me like the plague.
