00:00I have to say, though, and I think this is a good start to a new season
00:04because I didn't say a lot of great things about Kansas City last year.
00:07I don't think they were done a lot of favors by the schedule makers.
00:12I think starting your season in an international game is difficult.
00:17The fact that Kansas City follows it up, which almost seems impossible,
00:21on a rest disadvantage in a Super Bowl rematch because Philly plays on Thursday,
00:28I thought that was a tough little one-two combination
00:32to get the season underway for Kansas City.
00:34Yeah, and you've got a time difference.
00:38So this is interesting, and I always wondered about this
00:41because the league really has not been asked this before
00:42in terms of early season scheduling and divisional rivals and so forth.
00:47While it might seem kind of odd to put a division rival like Kansas City
00:52and the Chargers in week one, they said they're all about matchups.
00:57They don't care which week it is.
00:58And, yes, we all love those divisional rivals playing each other.
01:02Your Eagles will play the commanders two out of the last three weeks of the season.
01:06But they had no problem.
01:07We mentioned earlier the Cowboys-Eagles.
01:09They have no problem having Chiefs Chargers early
01:12because it's just all about the matchups.
01:13I'm glad they addressed that because they've not really talked about that before.
01:17So when you see these divisional rivals play early,
01:20which you scratch your head like, why would you do that?
01:22It's all about the matchups, particularly the quarterback matchups,
01:25Herbert versus Mahomes.
01:26That matters a lot to the league.
