00:00This is Leah now for a massage here, Precision Healing and Wellness, and I shouldn't be picking
00:11my head up because it's really straining my neck, but Nova Gashidmeyer is here to tell you about
00:15medical massage a little bit more. Nova, what are we going to start with?
00:19So each of our therapists is trained in gait analysis, and they're able to kind of identify
00:24where this pain might be coming from. We can work on those areas, therefore helping to
00:29correct and improve blood flow in that area. Our therapists are then able to teach patients
00:36how to work with mobility exercises to increase functionality of their body. Now, everybody's
00:43different, Radar. Sometimes people definitely need weekly massages every other week. Our therapists
00:49are also trained to give you a care plan, so everything is tailored to the person's needs.
00:54So we're just adding a little bit extra to our massage therapy treatment today with some cupping.
00:58after we've done heat, massage, stretching. We can also add in some hot stones to help
01:05melt that tension away. Oh, you will feel better with medical massage. At Precision Healing and
01:11Wellness, go ahead and make your appointment, precisionhealing.org. So we use the term medical
01:17massage as opposed to therapeutic massage because we're looking to correct an injury or dysfunction
01:24in the body. So we have had some of our veterans, like example, come in with a walker and needing to
01:31use that walker for their every movement. And then after having medical massage a few times, they no longer
01:39need that walker. They have exercises that they can do at home, and they have ways that they are able to
01:44live their life more fully. But after having some medical massage appointment here at Precision Healing and Wellness,
01:51it was, it was great.
