00:00I have an AI system that runs the house.
00:03So, you know, wow, yeah, you can talk to the house and it will talk back to you and you can ask questions.
00:08And basically it's an AI, you know, it's a little bit like altered carbon.
00:13So the AI runs the house.
00:17It's Abe Cannon. It's an Odyssey check-in with Zoltan Bathory, who's about to announce the new Pope.
00:21He's in the Vatican right now. You can see him in the background. Zoltan, who's the new Pope?
00:26Well, I can't tell you yet. You know, I'm mixing the powder for the right color of smoke.
00:32You know what I mean? Like it's I'm working on it.
00:34So, okay. The lot to talk about.
00:37It's maybe me. I'm just saying.
00:40I always said every major announcement should be from a balcony window because it just seems bigger.
00:45And like every major announcement you guys make should be from your background there at your castle.
00:51It's a blue screen. I mean, green screen. Whatever. It's not real.
00:56I mean, it is.
00:57I do. I do have a couple of questions about the castle, but let's get to the new album first.
01:0320 years of Five Finger Death Punch.
01:05The best of your re-recording some of your biggest songs, including I Refuse.
01:12And you have Maria Brink from In This Moment.
01:15The new version, I think, is better than the original.
01:18I feel like it's like I Refuse wasn't a single, but it was like it's like a hit amongst your fans, right?
01:24Yes, correct. In fact, that was sort of a pain, you know, that we always had because there's just so many singles you can, you know, you can release on radio from a record.
01:34Generally, it's three, maybe four, you know.
01:36And then once we have like three, four singles out, the radio will not play the fifth or the sixth one.
01:42That's just how this works, right?
01:44And so we had this massive debate of which songs should be singles, and this was one of the favorites.
01:52And, you know, in a toss-up, it kind of didn't become a single.
01:55We had another three or four singles from that record.
01:58And so we always thought like, man, this song should have been one, you know?
02:01It just never got enough attention or light that it was an important song.
02:06And so this time came around, 20th anniversary, you know, we were like, hey, what would we give to the fans?
02:13This is a great idea to do this.
02:16And then we recorded it, right?
02:20225 technology plus we have Marie Brink, who's an old friend of us.
02:26We know each other in our whole careers, you know, toured together many, many times.
02:30It made all the sense in the world.
02:31And this is volume one.
02:33You're going to put out, obviously, a volume two if you're calling this volume one, right?
02:37You know?
02:39It's definitely logical.
02:42Yeah.
02:42It looks like.
02:43Yes, of course.
02:44So we looked at the 30 most popular songs from the band, right?
02:50That's obviously.
02:51Let's go.
02:51So the track, let's really quick.
02:53Under and Over It, Wash It All Away, Battle Born, I Refuse with Maria.
02:59Jekyll and Hyde, Wrong Side of Heaven.
03:01Lift Me Up, Far From Home, Bad Company, House of the Rising Sun, Gone Away, Remember Everything, Coming Down, The Bleeding Trouble, Welcome to the Circus.
03:12And then you have a couple of livers.
03:14You have The Bleeding Live.
03:17So that's an awesome.
03:18That's pretty awesome.
03:20Like that.
03:21If you just played that at a five-finger death punch show, that set list, I think you'd be good for the day, right?
03:27I mean, you know what?
03:28It's really funny.
03:29We have 28 top ten hits, right?
03:32Like 28 hits.
03:33And then I think 40-something, 40-something entry on the billboard.
03:37I mean, the numbers are crazy.
03:39And if we wanted to play all the hits, actually, we would have to play a four-hour show.
03:45Or you could do two nights like Metallica's doing.
03:48You could do the no-repeat weekend.
03:49Oh.
03:50Which you were a part of.
03:52Oh, yeah.
03:53That's not a bad idea, actually.
03:54You're giving me, like, you know, writing down the notes here.
03:57So, yeah, actually.
03:59Like, you know, it's just the body of work.
04:02It's so many hit songs.
04:03It's, as I said, if we just played those, we couldn't fit them in one show.
04:09Definitely have to be two.
04:11And for the people not familiar with I Refuse, this thing is, I don't know, it's like a new coat of paint on it.
04:17And I feel like this is like a massive hit for you guys.
04:19Like the old version, whatever, the new version now, I think it's just like a new song.
04:25Right.
04:25I mean, look, the old version was already, you know, we were very proud of that.
04:30So these new versions are almost like paying, you know, paying respect to the old ones.
04:35Because those were recorded and they sounded incredible.
04:39So, in fact, you know, that's kind of a challenge when you, you know, you have to re-record your own songs.
04:45It's not a cover.
04:47Yeah.
04:47You have to record your own song and you have to do better than you did before.
04:51How do you go about doing that?
04:53Is it like, for all those songs, I just went through the list.
04:56Like, were there things like, man, I wish I would have changed this part of the solo.
04:59I wish this was louder.
05:00Like, when you go into re- it's like, now you've lived with these songs for so many years, right?
05:05Exactly.
05:06And it's like, well, wait a minute.
05:07Maybe this should have been here.
05:09This should have been here.
05:09This should have been louder.
05:11Put this in.
05:11Like, how did you decide to change these songs that are like iconic songs for your fans?
05:17Like, I mean, literally, as you just said, we got to live with these songs for years, right?
05:22And listening to them and, you know, also your voice changes a little bit as you're getting older, right?
05:28It's a lot of factors go into it, but pretty much that.
05:33Like, you live with those songs.
05:34There was no problem with the song to begin with.
05:37So that's what I meant by it's a challenge to like, whoa, it was already great, in my opinion.
05:42We had a song of all these songs.
05:44Like, we are proud of them.
05:45And so that's a challenge.
05:47Like, okay, how do we make these?
05:50How do we reimagine it for 225?
05:52How do we do this?
05:53And, you know, so you'll hear it.
05:55Obviously, you already heard this one.
05:57It's like, we put the work in.
05:59So, yeah.
06:00It's awesome.
06:01And now, after hearing the new versions, like, do you feel like you guys are a better band in 2025?
06:07It's like, you have to be, you know?
06:09Like, imagine like the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of shows we played, you know?
06:14Like thousands, actually, you know?
06:16And, yeah, like you'd absolutely become a better band, yes.
06:19And we should explain why, partially the reason why you did this is because your entire catalog was so,
06:27it was sold without even telling you it was sold, right?
06:30So, you know about that.
06:32Yeah.
06:33The news are spreading.
06:34So, look, it's, yes.
06:36But it's pretty common in the music industry.
06:39Like, outside from the music, people don't really know that this actually happens.
06:43But, you know, record labels do trade or sell masters many times without letting the artists know
06:50or having, you know, the chance even to participate.
06:54So, this kind of happens.
06:56This is the thing that is, you know, it's from a business perspective, from the record label side,
07:02it's a move on the chessboard, right?
07:05Like, and then now it's, now we move, this is our move now, you know?
07:11Yeah.
07:11It's just one of those things.
07:13Taylor Swift did the same thing.
07:14Yes.
07:14And if you notice, if you're looking at her music, it always says Taylor's version.
07:19So, I was wondering, will this say like Zoltan's version?
07:23No, it's going to be the anniversary version.
07:25It's a 225 anniversary version.
07:27So, that's what you want to call them, the anniversary version.
07:30So, and it's literally a lot, like Taylor Swift, you know, did what she did.
07:36It was a brilliant move, right?
07:38Yeah.
07:38And many artists, when it happens to them, right, they kind of, you know, they help less
07:43and they don't really have an answer.
07:45And some artist goes like, Irma, you made your move, now we're going to make ours.
07:49And it is what it is.
07:50Now, Taylor Swift has a rabid fan base, right?
07:53A very hardcore fan base.
07:55So, when she put out the new songs, the fan base just simply switched to the new streams.
08:00It just happens so that we have probably the craziest fan base on the planet.
08:04I mean, like our, these guys are with us since day one, literally.
08:09Yeah.
08:09And they're hardcore.
08:11I mean, it's the most loyal fan base, so probably the same thing is going to happen.
08:15They just switch.
08:16And the last thing about this, it's a silly move.
08:19It's not like, look, you live in a castle.
08:21Like, maybe, you might have gave them more money than they got.
08:25He didn't ask us, you know.
08:27Like, exactly.
08:27Like, at least give me the chance to, you know, to, to buy Backward Masters if you want
08:31to sell it.
08:32But, you know.
08:33Yeah.
08:33So, it's like, no blame, no hate.
08:35You know, I, again, I understand that this is a, this is a movie that happens all the
08:38time.
08:39It's just, we responded like, okay, no, then we do this.
08:43So, you're, you live in the, maybe the, like, if they redid Scarface, they should do it in
08:48your house.
08:49You have the, I've never, you might have my favorite house that I've ever seen in my life.
08:53You live in a castle in Las Vegas.
08:55Are there dudes behind you doing jiu-jitsu right now?
08:59I know you have, like, jiu-jitsu.
09:00Not right now, but that's 24-7 is going on.
09:02Yeah.
09:03Like, it's, we call it the jiu-jitsu castle, right?
09:05It's, everybody's always here training.
09:07Yesterday, I had an old friend of mine, Judo Olympian, Joy Marshall here.
09:11I mean, you know, the who's who is coming here training it pretty, pretty cool.
09:16So, so, and your whole, your whole crew, they just hang out there all the time, right?
09:20Yeah.
09:21Yeah, yeah, yeah.
09:22I mean, look, this is, this was actually not my idea.
09:24I stole it from a friend of mine.
09:26A friend of mine who's a movie producer lived in Los Angeles and he had this house with an
09:31open door policy, right?
09:32I would go over to his house and there would be a bunch of people in his house doing, okay,
09:36watching TV, doing this and that, right?
09:39And I would like, his name is Brian.
09:40I'm like, hey, where's Brian?
09:41And like, we don't know, somewhere in Amazon shooting some, you know, documentary and like,
09:45oh, cool.
09:46I mean, we'll just hang out in his house.
09:48He wouldn't be even home for months.
09:50And I met the craziest, most interesting people in his house.
09:54There was always some, some really bizarre stuff like, oh, wow, you know?
10:00And, and I thought, man, what a, what a great idea, you know?
10:04I mean, if somebody's going to take something without TV, it's like, you know what I mean?
10:10So there's nothing in the house that you can, you know, like, it's not even a thing,
10:14but it's just, it's just, it's just the whole idea that people could just go to his house
10:18and he would be there.
10:19And man, I'm like, that's pretty cool.
10:22And so the house before this one was already there.
10:24It had two recording studios in the house and my girl used to DJ.
10:29So they would be banging around dance music, a bunch of producers making music in one studio.
10:34The rock guys in other studio, the entire gym is in my home dojo, you know, beating the crap
10:39out of each other outside.
10:41Like I had this backyard people in the pool.
10:44So they always had like 20 something people at my house all the time.
10:47And you have a lake, you have a lake too.
10:49You have your own lake.
10:50So it's not my lake.
10:52It's a, it's a, it's just, I'll just happen to be on a shore.
10:54It has, you know, it has like a, over a three mile shoreline.
11:00It's a, it's a pretty decent lake in the middle of Las Vegas.
11:03Yeah.
11:03Why would you ever leave?
11:04Like if I, I wouldn't like, if I were you, I would never leave, I was watching, I've seen
11:09a lot of stuff about your, your, your castle.
11:11I would never leave that place.
11:13It is the, it's the great, like you have everything there.
11:16I mean, I guess, unless you just want to play in front of a huge crowd, but you could probably
11:19do that at your castle, have them come in your yard or something.
11:22You could play on a dock.
11:23We have a boat.
11:25I mean, it's, it's pretty funny because we have these electric boats.
11:28So I get on a boat in the morning, you know, I could blow my Viking horn.
11:32Right.
11:33And then I go across the lake, get breakfast.
11:35Right.
11:36And then I boat back.
11:37It's pretty much my morning routine.
11:39It's pretty funny.
11:40Do you ever come downstairs like for breakfast and you just see some dude sitting on one of
11:43your couches and you're like, who are you?
11:45All the time.
11:45Yes.
11:46And just like, you don't care.
11:47You're like, oh, I mean, these are all my friends.
11:50You know, there's always, you know, there's always a bunch of jujitsu guys training.
11:55They, you know, they have the fingerprints in the, in the codes.
11:58They put in a fingerprint and then the security system, leave them alone.
12:02I have an AI system that runs the house.
12:06So, you know, wow.
12:07Yeah.
12:07You can talk to the house and it will talk back to you and you can ask questions.
12:11And basically it's a, an AI, you know, it's a little bit like altered carbon.
12:16So the AI runs the house, but it's a mine.
12:18I have a wreck, a whole wreck module in the, in the basement.
12:22Yeah.
12:23It runs the house.
12:23And this AI talks to chat GP or any of the other AIs online, but it's yours.
12:29So it's, it's also the firewall kind of.
12:31So could you tell it at your house to do something right now or now?
12:34Yeah.
12:35Yeah.
12:35I can turn, turn lights on and off and, you know, I can ask that the weather or whatever
12:40it's called Josh.
12:41So you have to say, Hey Josh.
12:42And then it turns on and then you can ask like, you know, what's the weather?
12:46Could you do it right now?
12:48Hey Josh.
12:48What's the weather today in Las Vegas?
12:54Let's see.
12:55You can answer.
12:59It can't be clear to 100 degrees.
13:03Expect a low of 95 degrees and a low of 66 degrees.
13:08That's awesome.
13:09Thank you, Josh.
13:10Thank you, Josh.
13:13So, yeah, so you can, you know, so, so the next, the next level is that, you know,
13:17the face recognition, so it's recognized people.
13:20And then it's like, Hey, who are you?
13:22And then, you know, the machine guns come out.
13:24Like, we don't know you.
13:28No, but you know, and, and I all have my old, all the military guys running around here.
13:33The other day we were doing a video and people like, are you going to have armed security?
13:36I'm like, no, these guys are always here.
13:38And we were just shooting a video and they were here.
13:41Most of them trained with me anyway, the jujitsu guys.
13:43So, you know, it's, it's, it's pretty funny because if a stranger was coming to my house,
13:48it's like, Whoa, what's going on here?
13:49Like, you know, people, it's Las Vegas.
13:51Oh yeah.
13:51People open carry, right?
13:53It's completely normal.
13:54I carry all the time.
13:55So, you know what I mean?
13:56And so, so when people are walking, is it, is it like a military?
14:01And the rule is if they walk in your house, they have to roll with you on the jujitsu mat.
14:06And then if they, if they last 20 seconds, they could stay.
14:10Right.
14:10That's definitely the rule.
14:12So, so is the plan to rerecord every five finger death punch song or are you just doing
14:16like your bigger songs?
14:18So we're going to start, we started with this, this 30.
14:21So basically we looked at what's the most popular 30 songs, right?
14:25And then we were like, let's get those because those are the ones obviously resonate with
14:29the fans the most.
14:30Let's record those.
14:32And, and this is the 20th anniversary.
14:33So beside that, what happened with the masters, we were also already looking for something
14:40to do for the fans.
14:41Right.
14:41So it was kind of like, oh, well, let's, here's some lemon.
14:44Let's make some lemonade.
14:45Right.
14:46Like this happened.
14:47And like, okay.
14:47I mean, like this happened anyway.
14:49So, well, it's a perfect opportunity to then instead of, you know, instead of getting pissed
14:53off or, you know, getting mad about it, it's like, you know what?
14:57Well, it is what it is.
14:58Then why don't we turn it into a positive?
15:00And then this is all move on the chessboard.
15:04We're going to rerecord it.
15:05Fans going to be happy.
15:06This is the, you know, the, the 30 most popular songs.
15:09Let's reimagine them.
15:10Let's record them with today's sound and today's voice.
15:14And, and, um, as I, you know, as you recognize it, we lived with these songs for years and
15:19years.
15:20So how would they sound today?
15:22And we just did that.
15:23Is there a plan to put out a new album at some point soon?
15:27Yeah, definitely.
15:27Yeah.
15:28We'll be doing this first and then a new album.
15:31And then you guys have like a handful of shows coming up.
15:34Is there a tour along with these new albums, these new reimaginings of these albums?
15:39So right now we have a bunch of festivals, big festivals, uh, booked.
15:44And then, you know, we are always in conversations about the future, you know, that bands, the, the,
15:49the size usually have to plan a year ahead, sometimes more.
15:52Yeah.
15:53Right.
15:53So we are already talking about 2026, what's happening, you know, and everything gets,
15:58you know, there's a very specific schedule when I can tell you something when I can not
16:02yet, you know, there's a special year.
16:04So yeah, we've been talking about it, but you know, we're playing a bunch of huge festivals
16:08like Incarnation and similar, you know, it's all, most of them are Danny Wimmer, who's a good
16:15friend of us.
16:15And one of the, you know, one of the people, man, I think the anti-rock community owes him,
16:22uh, you know, uh, a big, big thank you because man, it's like back in with the time mayhem
16:29festivals with John Rhys, Danny Wimmer, Gary Spivak, all these guys kept, you know, rock music
16:35alive.
16:35Like those, you know, the general audience don't know this, but man, those guys work
16:39their tails off to, you know, to this happens.
16:42And now it's like America, very similar to Europe.
16:46America has now these giant, giant festivals where 50,000 plus people can show up.
16:51That was a very European thing.
16:53And, and these guys weren't the way, the way they are now, like rock music is having a
16:56real resurgence.
16:57And like, like you said, there's thousands, 50,000 people at these festivals.
17:02Um, it wasn't happening for a while.
17:04Right.
17:04And they, these guys have a massive hand in that, you know, so, you know, this is, so
17:09anytime when they put up a festival with the Oscars, we go, we, we, we play those for
17:13for sure.
17:14What's it like when you play in South America?
17:16Because every crowd I see in South America, they are the craziest crowds.
17:20I've never seen anyone, even, even better than us in the United States.
17:23I mean, tell you the truth, it's, it was shocking.
17:28The first time we went to South America, first was Argentina and we went to Brazil and I was
17:36surprised, but not surprised because we obviously, we all know this, but I was surprised in a
17:41way that I don't know, there was maybe 40,000 people there and everybody knew every words
17:47to every song, like the whole crowd just found the song.
17:51And they, and they don't speak English.
17:53Yeah.
17:53But if they know all the words, you know, it would be normal if that first, you know,
17:58I don't know, five rows are the hardcore fans come to see you and they, they're there
18:02in the, with a sink, but the whole crowd, I mean, it was absolutely insane.
18:07Absolutely insane.
18:08You know, you talk all the time about your mindset.
18:11Like there's a lot of people, they hit these roadblocks.
18:13Like what's your advice to people?
18:14Because you're so successful.
18:15You always have that mindset of it's going to happen no matter what.
18:18Right?
18:19Like you, you never doubt yourself.
18:21Like what's advice you have for people that are struggling to reach the kind of whatever
18:25their success might be.
18:27The biggest one, I would say, remember your miracles.
18:32And what I mean by that is pretty much everybody in life can remember a situation.
18:37Like we can do the exercise right now.
18:39Some things happen to you in your life, right?
18:41That is such a synchronicity, such a coincidence that it's, it cannot be a coincidence.
18:47It's, it's like, it's a, you can call it a miracle.
18:51It's like something you wanted just appeared or something happened that, that was,
18:56not calculable.
18:58It's just like, okay, for this to happen, this has so many coincidences have to, you
19:03know, happen in the same time, yet it happened.
19:06Everybody has those moments, right?
19:08And remember those moments.
19:12Like great engraved that in your mind that you wanted something.
19:15And when it happened, when it, when sort of the, almost a universe yielded, right?
19:20And now it, it happened because more of those things you have, more of those miracles are
19:27checkmarked.
19:28Like I remember this, I wanted this and I achieved it.
19:30All those things as well, right?
19:32Checkmark them.
19:33Once you have a list of those, then you can recognize the patterns like, you know what?
19:39This, this, whatever this is, be a holographic universe, a computed universe, whatever this
19:44is, right?
19:46It's intelligent.
19:48The whole thing.
19:49There's an intelligence.
19:50There's a logic.
19:51There is a, there's, there's, there's a base substrate, a logic that everything runs on
19:57and everything is connected and these miracles are happening.
20:00So if all these miracles already happened, why wouldn't happen another one?
20:05Right?
20:06And the fact that you're alive today and you're here and we're having this conversation, that
20:11means pretty much everything worked out for you because, because, you know, when people
20:16look at their life, like, oh, I want to have a castle.
20:19You don't have to have a castle.
20:20What you need is air, water, and food, right?
20:24Which I lived that way too.
20:25You know what I mean?
20:26Like I lived in a way where, you know, I had a $5 budget a day, you know, lived in the
20:30ghetto.
20:31You know, this is what it is, man.
20:33I got to, you know, I got to figure it out.
20:35And, you know, so, so if you're alive, if you woke up this morning, you're winning.
20:43That's it.
20:43You're winning.
20:44You're alive.
20:45Holy cow.
20:46Look at this.
20:47And manifesting definitely works.
20:49Right.
20:49And, and then once you manifest, then gratitude goes a long way.
20:54Just remember your blessings.
20:56Remember your miracles and be grateful.
20:58Anything, anything you're not grateful for will be removed.
21:02I have a couple of friends that, um, talk about this all the time.
21:06They're like in sober livings.
21:07And, and this is one of the things they are saying, like anything that you're not grateful
21:11for will be removed, you know?
21:14So, so that's it.
21:15Remembering miracles, once you have a role of them, then whatever you are embarking on,
21:21it should happen.
21:24Why not?
21:25So many miracles already happened.
21:27It's a miracle that you're alive in here, right?
21:29Yeah.
21:29Like it's you.
21:31Why can't you get this?
21:32Why they got it?
21:32Why can't you get it?
21:33Correct.
21:34Correct.
21:35And, and, and, oh, go ahead.
21:37Action, you know, however, that's another thing.
21:40Action.
21:41Action is the only one that creates change.
21:43A thought will not.
21:45Right.
21:45So you have to take action.
21:47So you can have the best plans, the best ideas.
21:50If you don't do something, if there's no action involved, nothing going to happen.
21:56And you can have the greatest potential without action, nothing going to happen.
22:00So, so many times people who, you know, who might be not, maybe they don't have the potential,
22:06not as talented, but they're really hard workers, generally win, right?
22:10Because action makes the change.
22:13Yeah.
22:13Manifesting plus hard work equals results.
22:15Yeah.
22:15There's that, that, that, you know, that, what is that, a low anecdote when people say like,
22:21well, there are three frogs are sitting in a lotus leaf.
22:24It's like some, it's a, it's a Eastern philosophy kind of, three frogs are sitting on a lotus paddle,
22:33two of them thinking about jumping in the water.
22:35How many left on that lotus leaf?
22:38Three.
22:39They were just thinking about it.
22:40Right.
22:40Yeah.
22:41I mean, it's like, you gotta do it.
22:43You have to, you have to, you have to do the work.
22:45And you, you even have a bigger under, cause you had a couple of near death experiences,
22:49right?
22:49So you, you've seen things could, I don't, I don't want to like get into that, but can you
22:55just tell us from, because I always, I watch a lot of videos about the near death experiences,
23:01right?
23:01And they all tell the same story.
23:04So there has to be, unless they're all lying, all these random people, can you just tell
23:10me what happens when you die?
23:13Like, can you just, just a 30 second, I don't want you to like, I don't want to make you
23:16get into the whole thing, but just so people know, like what you've seen a couple of times,
23:20what, what, what will happen when you're at that point?
23:24So the fact that you're aware of dying tells you the fact that you have a, you have a witness,
23:33something more, something that doesn't die.
23:35You die and you know, you die and you definitely have a third perspective on that.
23:40So that means, and it's the same thing you can come to in a, in the process of meditation.
23:44You're watching your mind, that's meditation.
23:46You're watching your mind and trying to silence it, trying to make everything even.
23:51And then eventually you start to have these questions like, okay, if I'm watching my,
23:54my mind, who is the watcher, who's the witness, right?
23:58And so, so you have this, um, in, in that process, it, it calls self-realization, right?
24:05When you realize like, oh, I'm not the mind.
24:07I'm not the body.
24:08When you realize this, when you actually realize this is a, it's a profound spiritual experience
24:12and dying is, is very similar.
24:14When it happens, you, you know, you died, right?
24:18And then you have that realization, but I am still here somehow.
24:22I am still processing.
24:23I'm aware that I died.
24:26And did you do that whole like life review thing where you were looking back at everything?
24:29Did you experience that?
24:31And so that, that is not really happening in a way that, you know, people see a movie,
24:39you kind of aware of everything in the same time.
24:43Now we could talk about what I think is happening, right?
24:46There's, there's, there's, I have a theory of what's happening, why that is happening.
24:51It's like, you know, your mind, your body, you're basically dying.
24:54You're shutting down, right?
24:55And so in my opinion is my theory, I think what's happening is every time you're in, you
25:02know, a situation, right?
25:04Life in that situation or any kind of situation, your mind is looking for a solution, right?
25:10And so I think what's happening when you're dying, it's, it's a, it's a cathartic.
25:16It's, this is the biggest thing will ever happen to you when you die.
25:19Yeah, I know because I felt that like, man, this is the most important thing ever happened,
25:23you know, but I just happened so that I'm still here, but, but yeah, you know, but when
25:27it happens, that's how that feels.
25:29And what I think happening is your mind is looking for a solution.
25:34It knows that it's, you know, your body, your mind knows it's dying.
25:39You're dying.
25:39And you go through the movie of your whole life.
25:43I think for the reason of looking for anything that can save you.
25:47I think that's why it happens.
25:50It's just a theory, but I think that's what's happening.
25:52You, you go through the library of like, you know, you're like, if you were a martial
25:56artist or with somebody twisting your arm this way, then you do that, right?
25:59Like you have answers to things.
26:01Now in, in, in, in this situation, you're dying.
26:03What's the answer?
26:04How do I survive?
26:05How do I get out of it?
26:06And I think your mind just goes through your entire life, looking for a possible answer,
26:11looking for a, a, a way out.
26:13I think that's what's happening.
26:15And your answer was, they're like, you have to rerecord.
26:18I refuse Maria Brink from in this moment.
26:21And that's what it was.
26:23So I could talk to you for 10 hours about all this, but it's, you're, you're one of the
26:27most interesting guys I've ever talked to.
26:29Zoltan Bathory, five finger death punch, the new song.
26:32I refuse Maria Brink from in this moment.
26:34So awesome.
26:35Love it.
26:35It's so like, it just feels good.
26:37It's like, Oh, love it.
26:39I love the solo in there.
26:40Um, 20 years of five finger death punch volume one, uh, it's out.
26:45So volume two is coming out.
26:47Check them out.
26:48You got to hear the new version of my refuse.
26:50Uh, I like to wrap these up Zoltan.
26:52You guys have, like you said, some hardcore fans.
26:54What do you want to say directly to your fans?
26:57Well, exactly that.
26:58Like, Hey guys, it's, this is the birthday present.
27:00You know, you guys are with us for forever.
27:03Literally, uh, 20 years is forever.
27:05And, uh, you know, in our eyes.
27:08Right.
27:09So for a whole existence, and then this is our celebration, 20th anniversary edition.
27:15Check it out.
27:16You know, if, uh, obviously you can switch the, the streams after the new ones.
27:21Um, Hey, only, only, only listen to the new screams.
27:26That's the most important thing.
27:27If you're going to listen to five finger death punch, only the new ones.
27:31Yeah.
27:32Well, thank you.
27:33So what he said, Zoltan, you're the man.
27:37Thank you so much.
27:38Very diplomatic.
27:39See what I mean?
27:39But he said it, listen to him.
27:44Thank you so much.
27:45Thank you guys.
27:46Thank you so much.
