00:00Sa iba pang balita, niyinig ng malakas na lindol ang lalawigan ng Quezon na naramdaman hanggang sa Metro Manila kaninang tanghali.

00:15Yes, sir. Good evening din po sa inyo.

00:18Okay, sir, may mga naitala po bang aftershocks matapos yung lindol kaninang tanghali?

00:24Yes, as of 5 p.m. kanina, nakapagtala po tayo ng 22 aftershocks.

00:31And out of the 22 aftershocks, isa lamang yung naramdaman ng mga tao.

00:37So yung magnitude range would be from magnitude 1.3 to 3.6.

00:43Okay, ako po yung taga-Risal kanina at naramdaman ko rin po yung malakas na lindol na yun.

00:48Ano-ano po ba yung mga lugar na nakaramdam nito?

00:52Okay, so yung pinakamataas na intensity na naramdaman kanina is intensity 5

00:59and it was felt in general na car, Quezon.

01:02Intensity 4 naman sa may Infanta Andreal, Quezon.

01:05Intensity 4 din sa may Bulacan, particularly sa Doña Remedios Trinidad.

01:10Intensity 4 din sa may Tanay Rizal, sa Makati City, sa Mandaluyong, sa Manila,

01:17and sa Marikina, pati na rin sa Cavite, sa may Bajor, and sa may San Pedro Laguna.

01:23Intensity 4 yung mga nabanggit ko kanina.

01:27Well, Director, ilang oras pa lamang po yung nakakalipas, no?

01:30Pero maaga pa. Pero may mga naiulat na po ba sa inyo na mga nasirang mga establishmento?

01:35Hindi tayo nag-expect ng damages dito kasi 4.1 nasa 4.6 lamang

01:43and yung lalim niya ay 11 kilometers.

01:47So we are not expecting damage and as of the moment wala rin po na report sa amin na may mga damages.

01:55Yung damages would start sa intensity 6 and yung kanina, ang maximum natin is intensity 5 lamang.

02:02Okay, sir, sinabi niyo po 11 kilometers. Ito po ba'y kinukonsidera bilang mababaw o malalim?

02:08This is still considered as a shallow earthquake. This is still part of the seismogenic zone.

02:14And again, that's the reason why it was felt in a wider area kasi medyo mababaw yung lindol natin.

02:22Okay, possibly po ba, sir, na kasing lakas o mas malakas pa yung inaasahang aftershocks?

02:28Aftershocks are normally 1 degree lower than the main shock.

02:33So if it's 4.6, we would expect aftershocks around 3.6 or around that value.

02:40So kung mas malakas pa doon, ay hindi na po yun yung aftershock.

02:45We can call it the main shock.

02:46And kaninang 4.6, that would be the 4 shock.

02:49But again, normally, well, by definition, aftershocks are 1 degree lower than the main shock.
