The U.S. and the Philippines are holding their annual Kamandag exercises across the Philippines, with over 4,000 troops taking part. Japan’s Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade is also participating for the first time, alongside observers from the Netherlands, Bahrain, Canada and New Zealand.
