The U.S. and the Philippines are holding joint military drills to prepare for their annual joint exercise, Salaknib. The Philippines' largest military base, Fort Magsaysay, is hosting the event that comes just days before U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is set to visit the country.
