00:07Varanasi have unveiled a unique creation, a Banarsi silk saree named Operation Sindhu.
00:12This handcrafted masterpiece is in honor of the precision strikes carried out by
00:15Indian forces on May 7th, 2025. The saree's design intricately weaves together elements
00:21symbolizing India's military might, including motifs of the S-400 missile defense system,
00:26the Brahmo's supersonic cruise missile and the Rafale fighter jet. Crafted in the time,
00:30honored Banarsi tradition, the saree not only showcases the region's rich textile heritage,
00:35but also stands as a powerful emblem of national pride and artistic excellence.
00:48The weavers have expressed their heartfelt wish to present the Operation Sindhu saree to Prime
00:52Minister Narendra Modi, entrusting him with the decision of whom it should be awarded to,
00:57with a humble preference for it to be gifted to Wing Commanders Singh and Colonel Qureshi,
01:01two of the most celebrated faces of the mission.
01:09With Operation Sindhuur, Varanasi's looms have yet again proven that art can be an instrument of tribute,
